You cannot compare speeds from browsers for multiple reasons. That is just stupid.

For one reason, memory is "donated" to a browser process to read the files therefore by doing this you can note that what order you visit websites in, the speed will be different.

Secondly, you computer might be "used to" a particular browser. Nothing new ever starts fast does it? And lastly, could be an add-on, firewall, extra feature (phishing filter for instance) or just YOUR internet.

order doesnt matter. what you said about memory being "donated" makes no sense, but what would make a difference is local data/cache, which is managed by the browsers independently of each other

Im using Firefox. Because I used ie8 but I got blue screen on Windows XP 2.20 Ghz and 2.00GB RAM! ie8 is taking more from the RAM.

i used to use internet explorer and i switched to firefox 3 b/c of the speed and customizaability being much better that IE 7. but now firefox is just about as fast as IE. so now i dont know which i prefer. but in this video i think IE either tied or won
