the short rubber tube is for flexible movement to be fitted over the outet of both parts of exhaust it is a bitch to fit its only 16mm inner diamater.i have put a vid on youtube hpi baja dominator pipe.fiiting tube.but you wont get any leaks causing power loss. once fitted fasten with tiewraps

TeamFastEddy, what is the purpose of the large diameter, short rubber tube and brace that comes with the pipe. Someone told me it was a no-leak coupler. I have been running my v2 pipe as you show in this video--just metal on metal connection. It, of course, leaks quite a bit that way (and releases pressure), so I would like to know if this is true and how to install it properly. Thanks.

@rccarsman87 The SS pipe is no comparison. I have a 5T and replaced the SS pipe with the V2 Rear Dom and it is almost like putting in a bigger motor.

tip: Its a good idea to install 2 large washers (same diameter as the rubber spacer) above and below the rubber spacer to ensure even compressing of the rubber. Why they didn't think of this is beyone me.

my dominator pipe leakes from the 2 pieces that contact each other(these that are together with the spring) , i have installed no leak coupling but it still leaks .... please eddy answer what i can do.....

there isnt much you can do about that except to completely weld the 2 pieces fully around shut , TGN have been making 2 piece header design on the FG MT pipe also and mine leaks too

its good that it dosnt touch the plastic parts ....... but it dosnt give the same proformance i tryed it ..... the old 1 is better to be honest

because of this, i changed this parts with metal parts from GH and VG...

It's a Team FastEddy Steel Work Stand. It's very sturdy, has a partitioned parts tray and easy to swivel the entire car around. Highly recommended!
