This entire chat by this guy about 1 John 5:6-8 is baloney. He makes it sound like the new translations of this section are removing something, when it's the reverse. The clause that's being discussed is called the "Comma Johanneum", and biblical scholars believe that the earliest record of it are from around the 6th or 7th centuries AD. Earlier manuscripts do not have this language. So, if anything, the newer translations are more true to the original manuscripts of 1 John than the KJV.

No, you cannot trust the ESV. You cannot trust any version of the Original translation, which is the KJBible. Not the NKJV or any other garbage. None of them are translated from the original God breathed Heb/Greek texts except the KJBible. It is the Only "authorized" translation. God doesn't stutter. If you can't understand the KJBible you aren't truly saved.
