  • Dear Colleague,

I proceeded approx. 700- 800 OP's in that way of surgical approach shown in the video clip and i had not even one single AVN til today. All of my patients are controlled 4 weeks postoperative by me through clinical and x-ray examination. Many of other surgeon do the plantar release/ artholysis of the first metatarsal head and i do not because i'm little afraid about the plantar vessels. I think that may be the reason for it.

  • Hello. I am an Orthopaedic surgeon. I see that the surgical approach let you visualize completely tha metatarsal head in order to do the cuts. Have you any problems with symptomatic AVN of the head after this procedure?

  • This is a real foot. The operation has been proceeded with a tourniquet, that means that the blood vessels have been compressed during the operation for a better sight for the Operator.

  • is this is a real feet??

  • @S123FS im wondering the same cuz there's no blood
