  • Im really interested in a cooling stand for my asus g73. im debating between the u3 and the ergostand. Which one do you consider to give out a better result? Thanks

  • linkku: i m using my laptop always in my table ,this cooler suitable for my lap 15.6 inche ??? it reduces overheating issues n mainely gaming purpose . i m buying mainely gaming purpose

  • @sulthanajith It will reduce your laptop load temps. So it helps maintain better airflow to the laptop.

  • Linkku: i have dell xps 15 15.6 inch laptop , i use my laptop mostly gaming purpose this cooler suitable for my lap ?? it reduce overheating issues?

  • @sulthanajith Notepal is intended for table use only. I would say that it would be really uncomfortable and impractical in your lap.

  • So does it run cooler / better?

  • @TheChineseEmpire Cooler yes.

  • With 3 small fans, would that make it on the louder side of laptop cooling pads?

  • @gwath42 No the fans are very quit.

  • My laptop is exactly 400mm wide from edge to edge and is called 17.3"

    the specification on this product says 420 X 320 x 65 mm,

so i dont trust it supporting up to 18.4" or 19"

  • I've had mines for 2 months now running none stop. I run my Hp dv7-6134 laptop 24/7. This is one of if not the best cooling pad out there. I got mines off Amazon.com for around $27, free shipping delivery. The fans are not super powerful, but they keep the laptop cool. Because you can control the speed of the fans, I generally keep the fans on low except when I am gaming and watching youtube. The fans are not loud, and very easy to attach.

  • hello, on amazon many many pepole say that fans got broken after 3 weeks of use. And many of them say that usb connector fell apart and usb wires that go to fans were broken after 3 weeks of use. can you please say few words about your experience, cause many people also said that it is ok and many people were mentioning problems with wires fans not working after few weeks very loud noise from fans after few weeks, maybe coolermaster improved next series, maybe just first series were bad.?

  • i have a 15,6 inch laptop would the cooler be to small for the computer?

  • I have a acer 8930g which is a 18.4 inches, how effective that would it be?

  • @Moraud5386

Buy the larger version for 19 inch laptops.

  • @Moraud5386

The U3 cooler would definitely work out for you. I have an hp dv7-6143 which is 17.3" and I still got room to spare. So your 18.4" should fit perfect.

  • Is this too big for a 14 inch?

  • @TheWarmplate No I dont think so.

  • @TheWarmplate

Yes IMO. I bought this cooler for my 15,6" laptop and its waay too big. 17" or bigger laptop is recommended.

  • @TheWarmplate

The U3 would probably be big for a 14" laptop, but they have the U2 cooling pad. It's for 15" and under and it comes with 2 fans instead of 3.

  • oh man ! what laptop model ? :]

  • @shahrouzkhan200 Asus G73JH.

  • How much power is it drawing out on that USB connection ? wouldn't that make it run hotter?

  • @stalker097218 Power drawn 5V DC like any other USB devices. No it would not make it run hotter.

  • i love that asus

  • Mirror's Edge theme song

  • cool laptop

  • no dislikes... schhhh the trolls are sleeping....

  • whats the music?

  • @MogTrader Please read the description.

  • mirrors edge music

  • hey mate, i'm between this and ergostand... have you try ergostand before? which one's better ? better fan speed equals better cooling ? i think i'll get u3 tho

  • @naochiMalmsteen On this model it is good that you can actually define the fan places.

  • @naochiMalmsteen Same here, but i'm thinking about buying it as a geek gift. Dunno which to choose X2, Ergostand or U3...

Is U3 comfortable for using on lap/laying?

  • hey,how will be the effect on my laptop?

    it's an HP Pavilion DV7 - 4190us

    17.3"

    Core i7 720QM

    ATI 5650 1GB OC

    idle ~ 55°c CPU / 50°c GPU

    playing ~ 80 - 90°c CPU / 87°c GPU

    thx

  • Hey,

    i have 15,6 inch laptop,

but according to the dimensions of the notepal U2, that one is too small, so will this U3 be way to big for my 15,6 inch laptop?

  • @Darkreval I also tested U3 with 15,6 inch laptop. The U3 works with 15,6 and 17,3 ich laptops.

  • @McSandkasten no it cant its designed for laptops only if you want one i suggest you check ebay they have specific cooling systems for both ps3 and xbox

  • can it be used with ps3?

  • wait so was your Asus laptop on the demonstration 15"?

  • @ilovetodayy No it was 17".

  • Hi does the cooler push air inside the laptop or pulls heat away?

  • @zapx99 blows air into the laptop

  • It blows the air through the laptop.

  • So does it Suck or Blow?

i mean blow air up towards the notebook, or suck down away from it?

  • @Zipfo99 It blows the air through the laptop.

  • I have a 17.3" dell studio and I've noticed from the video that the fans can't be mounted in the front part of the mash beacuse of the coolers angle... there is where my notebook actually gets really hot when in full use because I supose there is my HDD and the GPU ... could you please help me out by testing how far can the fans be placed in the front ? ... thank you

  • @Dumbi18 If you stop the video at 1:07 you can see how low or high you can mount the fans. Every hole is a mounting hole and fans wont touch the table.

  • @Linkku82 yeah, I haven't noticed :D, thanks man

  • @Linkku82 I intend to buy one and change two of the fans with two 12cm Enermax Magma fans if I can manage somehow to get 12V to them instead of the 5V from the USB, still keeping the RPM control somehow .... I find that making your own is more fun, and so I had a lot of ideas but this looks the most simple way, if of course I don't come across something more efficient or practical :D ... thank you again

  • im thinking of buying this for my m4x

  • lool mirrors edge....

    xD

  • i have a 13 inch macbook pro will it work with it or will it be to small??

  • @lolz12335 NotePal has rubber feet's for notebook that stops the notebook to sliding of the chassis. You might have to DIY some rubber feet's for the chassis so your Macbook wont slide of.

  • @Linkku82 so its to big for my laptop?

  • Would this laptop cooler work well with G73sw considering the size factor?

  • @RomanceChaos It's the same size as the G73JH. So watch the video and judge your self.

  • how and who can i buy this?

  • is this good for hp pavilion dv6? 15,6"...

  • does it blow the air up or does it blow it down?

  • @bigbrowncheifbottom Up to bottom of the laptop.

  • @Linkku82 thanks. :)

  • @Linkku82 wow.... are you super cooling a fridge there xD,your gonna froze your cpu :P, jk, thats the asus g73... it dosnt need a fan xD.....

  • I have a G73JH too and this vid made me buy the NotePal U3. =)

  • thanks for the answer. for 15,4 inch laptop do u recomand this fan or u2 ? Have a nice day

  • @11SAW Yeah it will be good for 15.4" laptop. I tested U3 with HP Pavilion also.

  • hi! Does this blows air? if no, can you change the fan to blow air? thx a lot

  • @11SAW Yes it does.

  • hi mate.
