Just a tip for making rubiks cube vids, alot of people who whatch this might not know the "cube language" or the algs. and they might not of seen how to move the cube because you were moving it a little too fast for a tutorial video. As for the video I couldnt get it to work for me but thats because my 3x3x3 is 2011.

Every 3 times you apply the algorithm the first layer (FL) corners get back to where they where, every 5 times the FL edges get back to where they where, every 7 times the LL (last layer) edges, every 9 times the LL corners and every 35 times the whole middle layer (ML) gets solved again. So: 3 - FL Corners 5 - FL Edges 7 - LL Edges 9 - LL Corners 35 - ML. I suppose from that you could make a proper method...

After you apply D' L' U' R' 315 times you get back to where you started so unless your cube is one of the lucky 314 cases (excluding the solved state) out of 43,252,003,274,489,855,999 cases (excluding the solved case again), you won't be able to solve it. And its really only 50 cases because the rest are done quicker with the beginner method.The precise chance of getting one of those cases is 1/103,774,523,335,824,747 + 141/314.

Yeah this is not gonna work , its an algorithm , so whats gonna happen is that the cube will come back to the cross position over and over again ,ul never be done. What he did was just create the cross and then inverse the moves so it would unscramble. Smart... but predictable.

has anyone else noticed how the first moves that he did were NOT DI, LI, UI, RI but infact they were actually DI LI U LI <-- epic fail soo just to clarify that num 1 you didnt do your own method num 2 there is no possible way this could work because if you try this yourself you will notice that the top left piece always returns to that same spot orientated the same way it started out which proves that he didnt actually start doing his method caz on his cube the top left piece wasnt solved :L :D
