As a 20+ year military brat, I thank you for this tribute to those who served-like my dad (for 23 years) and for those still serving and fighting for our Freedom. In my day it was the Cold War, and we lived in places that sometimes became dangerous.
Between deployments, TDY's, Hardship Tours, these soldiers sacrifice so much, as well as their families. No-Freedom isn't free. I knew that very young. Thank you for creating and sharing this Video. God Bless our soldiers!

i went to the miramar air show today and saw her poem in the booklet that they hand out to everyone. her poem is amazing!! omg. it brought tears to my eyes.

The only reason I know this is I watched a documentary on life after war and this picture was etched in my mind. How can this be allowed to happen to someone who gave so much. GOD BLESS OUR SOLDIERS!!!!! And Thank You for our Freedom.

My sons father was killed in ramadi Iraq on june 5 2005 my son was born june 12 2005. the pain i felt was undescribeable. I dont really know you chase but i feel i do. I belive that god brings people into our lives for a reason and for that im greatful to not only call you a friend but a brother. The sound of a 21 gun salute as a loved one is lowered into the grave is something that remains in ones heart forever and i hope no one ever has to feel. Or the countless amount of boots here of a fallen brother or sister. just walking by them makes your heart skip beats. Wondering that was my friend or it SHOULD have been me.
thank you for making this video were all sitting here at work crying. wishing we were home with our families and not fighting this war. Theres too many times that ive seen a brother or a sister die and there caskets lie waiting in the bay to be loaded onto a c-130 as they take there final journery home.
