No imagination, and useless for people with dairy and egg ellergies. The Fresh company does some decent vegetarian (a couple of which are vegan) sandwiches though. Vegans however, generally do cook from scratch and make beautiful meals.

@vkoo32 Go to a proper London gastro pub and order a proper English roast on a Sunday. In England it is traditional to have a roast on a Sunday. If they have roast beef on then they will probably have Yorkshire pudding but it won't be as nice as one that you will make yourself following a proper Yorkshire Pudding recipe. There are some on here - go with the English ones because they are the best. Have a lovely time in London x

i had shepherd's pie for the first time when i was in thailand of all places. some brit expats cooked it up for me and i have to say, it was pretty fucking good, especially after eating nothing but chili for an entire month.

@petitfiloux1 Mostly right about the British these days. I'm a Briton. And the sandwiches for vegetarians are even more of a boring joke. Egg and something or cheese and something. No imagination, and useless for people with dairy and egg ellergies. The Fresh company does some decent vegetarian (a couple of which are vegan) sandwiches though. Vegans however, generally do cook from scratch and make beautiful meals.

@vkoo32 Go to a proper London gastro pub and order a proper English roast on a Sunday. In England it is traditional to have a roast on a Sunday. If they have roast beef on then they will probably have Yorkshire pudding but it won't be as nice as one that you will make yourself following a proper Yorkshire Pudding recipe. There are some on here - go with the English ones because they are the best. Have a lovely time in London x
