  • Can't say I have the same dash issue. 40k now and body is pretty solid. Tires rotated twice, with some tread left, but starting exhibit cracks. Hopefully get through this winter and definitely get new set in the spring.

  • OK I've owned mine for 1 1/2 years now, my only gripes are the tires are wearing pretty quick and the mileage is only 26,000 so far (I don't do burnouts), and the dashboard has a tiny rattle up by the a pillar on the passenger side. Have you invested in newer tires yet?

  • i got one in purple, same model and year as yours, really sweet cars! i wanna cai and new exhaust on mine! rice mine out.haha

  • Nice ride

  • I have grown to like the car since I have had it for a year now......I do have a problem with the arm rest on drivers door cracking open...I replaced it twice and it split open again....

  • Very nice, no issues other than the nail days after purchase. About to enter third winter with original set.

  • How do those Dunlops handle in the snow? Everybody on the forums are recommending winter tires but I have plenty of snow driving experience. Being from the Northeast, how do you rank the handling in snow? I can't wait to test it out to see how the mid-car gas tank location balances out the weight of the car.

  • Nice review. They're aren't that many consumer reviews out there.

  • I love the fit. I call it my microvan because it is so cavernous (and looks like a little minivan).

  • Thanks for walk around. Nice. I just got the Fit Sport 2010 this week...,after a couple trips into the mountains I still can't get this permanent grin off my face! Honda absolutely NAILED the fun factor. It's an acrobat like the CXR, and, unlike the CRX, the visibility is outstanding! I love this car already.

  • I'm not really a fan of this car but I will admit you do have a nice car on your hand, it's not that I don't like the car but it's just not my style. But like I said it is a really nice car and I like the fact that you keep it clean. Also I know someone who bought a Honda, not the fit exactly but they gave him a free navi complementary of the dealership.

  • how much did you get yours for?

  • baker: 16730 sticker but that was in the dead of winter december 2009 in NJ.

  • great steal

  • yeah... i've been waiting for mine for like a month. i ordered a 2010 sport, black, and 5 speed. they said they can't find one in the states.

  • @baker70romeo first dealer I went to told me that too, then I put in a quote and I found the color I wanted at another dealership. Don't believe the 1st dealer you go to ever.

  • also...headlights dont shine out far enogh on low and wide enough...cant see going into a turn...car has some issues!!!!

  • How can all you numbskulls miss the REFLECTION of the DASH on the WINDSHEILD????? Ya GOTTA BE KIDDIN!!!!!

  • @thesurfr I haven't noticed it myself except for when I had my GPS mounted at night. There was an annoying reflection on the windshield. I figured that I should get a visor for the GPS. Concerning headlights, they seem better than my '94 Ford Escort.

  • @thesurfr you seem to be the only person who has this problem. Are you referring to daytime or night driving when the reflection is bad? I just don't see it. Maybe because it's always cloudy where I am?

  • QUESTION? How come you don't address the REFLCTION of the DASH on the WINDSHIELD???? I think it is a noticible PROBLEM on my 2009 sport! Please reply!!!!!

  • Gotta love the Fit, I just went out and bought 1 about 3 days ago. Sport Version with paddle shifter, the car are awsome good handling jdm style look thanks to the underbody kits, but I can't wait to get the Mugen Bodykits to update for my fit. Nice Video.

  • I want to buy this car, I was thinking of just getting the base to save some cash but should I go for the sport? Are their any good finance offers with this car? Great review.

  • The acceleration is very adequate. For max power & torque, you really need to wind it up past 4 - 5K. Even then the motor is a sweet sounding 4 banger compared to others. It just doesn't have that econobox sound or feel. This platform must be acceptable as there' s a Mugen version of the Fit. I replaced the air filter for a K&N and it's noticeably breathing and sounding better. DefiniteIy worth the extra $40. I now have about 11K and am very pleased to inform you that I avg 35.1 mpg.

  • Thanks for all the positive feedback guys. I really appreciate it! I 've never posted a video on youtube so I figured I give it a try with the new ride.

  • have u experienced dash reflections? What can we do to reduce it???

  • Great review, better than some pro tv shows. So nice to find this video here. Now I'm definitely going to check this model (in black no less!) out this weekend along with my list of others. But I will check this car first and then compare everything else to this one! 10 cup holders! Beats my VW Jetta of 11 years! Thanks again for a great review.

  • thanks, Im getting one in a few days. awesome review

  • I've been looking for a well priced, small, versatile car with good gas mileage and some sport. While this isn't some muscle car, it does have a lot of room and great features for such a good price. I've been looking into the 09 fit for some time now and I'm going to look at one at a dealer soon. It looks great and this review is really good. I appreciate the review! If I could ask anything different for the Fit, it would be a little more speed and longer front. How is the acceleration?

  • Awesome review! I'm currently in the market for a new car and I've been looking up this car a lot. Read lots of reviews and pieces. Really liked your own because of it's "up close" feel. The other ones I saw had a more "commercial feel to it. You're right about it being compact. I'm not really drawn by big cars with all that horsepower or whatever. Just want a straightforward car. Anyway, the car looks great and all the reviews speak so positive about it. I think I WILL be getting this car!

  • Congratulations on your video. You explain everything nicely and clearly with very good video quality and sound. I want to trade in my 07 civic coupe because I;m tire of the two door and I need a hatcback because I carry a lot of items. I want the automatic because I live in San Diego and I spend 1 hour at least in a bumper to bumper traffic. I doing my research o small compact hatchbacks because I want to buy one next year. So can you give more info on your car, I will really apreciated, thanks

  • Hey great walkaround, thanks for posting this! I'm planning on getting a new car next spring (I'm waiting for the new Ford Fiesta to come out so I can compare it with the Fit) but it makes me real happy to see that they already sell such a competent, well-appointed and well thought-out compact here in the States. Congratulations on your purchase, I think you made a great choice.

  • This has been the best review and walkaround of the Fit I've seen yet--thanks for uploading it. I love this car! It has all the functionality and practicality you could ever want.

  • Nice review

  • only fault ive found with the fit is the manual tranny offers WORSE mpg then the automatic...:(..otherwise i LOVE the fit!

  • @coandcaiv if you accelerate slowly and shift early you can get better mpg than the auto.

  • Sweet Ride!
