Hypocrite. I'm not voting for anything these lawmakers want, unless they put themselves thru the same sacrifices, paycuts & whatnot they're asking us to make.
How can you take the collective bargaining rights away from a legislator? They don't have management to negotiate with, and there isn't a legislators' union.
The image on the left is deliberately confusing, but if you hold your hand over the left half of the screen and just listen, Amstutz is fairly clear: the law doesn't apply to legislators because they aren't union employees- they're the management.
Well, there it is. Many politicians have reached the point that proves it is not about the "people" when they are not willing to tighten their own belts and share in reducing the cost of Government!! YIKES!
lmfao...why isntthis a commercial? omg...too funny..ummmm...er uh..er uh..hes undera republican association..so..we as his boss..he represents us..omg..what a mess..are u smarter than this uh er..duh..lmao.If this doesnt prove rhat clearly he needs to be retested...lol
The corporate, hate-wing rationale on this issue requires disremembering that public service workers are 1) taxpayers, 2) voters, and 3) EARN their benefits, AND contribute to them, ALREADY. Early in every tax season & election cycle, public service workers are marginalized in the corporate broadcast media, for no particular reason. Allow yourself to consider: This is NOT ~slightly~ inadvertent on the part of your local or national corporate media. It's their business.
I am a Firefighter. I pay 10% into retirement- I pay for my health care-have had wage freezes for 4 years-give back five 8-hour unpaid days a year-had 0 overtime hours for the first 6 months of 2011-have 3 children in private schools I pay for as well as public school taxes for a school they don't attend. I am always concerned with safety issues concerning manpower.I will statistically live 10 years less than you. I used to be a Republican-now I am just conservative. I am voting NO on issue 2!
@TermVelocity I'm standing with the fire fighters, police officers, and nurses who keep us safe. I'm standing with the teachers who help us find our potential and use our talents to be better members of society. The Republican party of my youth no longer exists. Now its the party of GREED. NO to issue 2!
I listened to him 5 times and still don't know what he is talking about...this must be the example of the "best and brightest" John Kasich surrounds himself with...I think he could of used a few bobbleheads in the background to send his message home. The arrogance just drips off them with no shame. Shout out to Shannon Jones...hey baby!
