Parts of Ganga Giri sound like Yothu Yindi did 13 years ago when they played in Brighton. Yothu Yindi didn't have the high-tech augmentation then, but even so it was apparent that aboriginal music could transcend our preconceived music tastes and appeal to us as people of the earth.
