Jewel always brings the sorrow out of me- the kind I keep hidden behind every other musician artist I listen too. It's heart aching, but she really digs deep for me. I love how she sings differently on every song she does. No song of hers is ever preformed the exact same. It's just like how people reference a song to a certain moment or thought in their life. Jewels singing lets me know that it's OK that one song can be sung in different ways, for all the different emotions that there are.

Damn, yes, I am a man, but, I am touched by her vocals, she has the absolute BEST voice control I have ever heard, and the feel, emotion and intensity of her vocal and message has always been exceptional.
