I am a parent of a 5 year old boy, and i purchased a good amount of these toys for his birthday, he loves them. I come from a background of playing miniature based games and this toy is my son's first 'miniatures' game, all his own, and DOES effectively teach beginning addition, as well as subtraction or more if you are willing/able to sit down with them and play a little 'house rules'. For the people who flamed this commercial, it doesn't suck, these kids are like friggin 4. shut the fuck up
