The "authorities" needed a few weak and easily intimidated witnesses to augment the WC lies. Look at the Lee Bowers video. "JFK Assassination Walter Rischel claims Lee Bowers seen the shooters". He saw 2 assassins shooting from behind the fence area.

sherrif roger craig went against the grain and he paid the price for it. when i was in dallas a few years ago i talked to sheriff decker's right hand man -he was a dep sheriff- he said decker always called him -"country" a nickname reference to a guy from a rural area in the south. deckers man was involved in a shootout where sheriff buddy walthers was killed. we talked about sheriff roger craig- he wished he could've killed craig himself. this was the mindset at this time.

@blungo99 Knoll area was investigated. Men falsely claiming to be secret service agents were already behind the knoll when the cops got there seemingly 1st. The cops thought they actually were secret service agents, were misled by the Warren Commission to the same effect. Were not aware that they were phony SS agents until after their retirements, when interviewed by Earl Golz of the Dallas Morning News in 1978. Suspicion is that the phony SS men actually participated in the assassination.

@39tommyboy Allen Dulles was the CIA Director who Kennedy fired. Neither he, nor his brother, John Foster Dulles, were from Dallas. You are thinking of Dulles' Assistant Director at the CIA, General Charles Cabell, who was also fired by Kennedy, and whose brother Earl Cabell was mayor of Dallas in 1963. I don't know where you get your information about the police being on Johnson's payroll. That would be one huge payroll to conceal, considering there were over a thousand cops in Dalls in 1963.

I was 13 when at the time of the assassination and have read numerous books on the subject. Several things have always puzzled me. Why was the grassy knoll such a hub of activity after the shots were fired? Why have so many witnesses claimed to have seen smoke and heard shots in that area? It doesn't make sense to me that they are all wrong or lying. Why was material from JFKs brain spattered back and to the left of his head? Seems only a shot from the front would do that. Please explain.

How many shots in the head does it take to kill a man?? Why would they need to shoot from two directions? It is possible that a second or "backup" gunman was on the Knoll. I doubt that he ever fired a shot.

@Megawatts121 Shooting from two or more directions during an assassination is a classic kill zone scenario. For the event to be successful, because a failure would increase future security measures, you want to be certain that layers are in place by providing multiple shooters. Triangulated crossfire has a extremely high success rate when compared to a single shooter event. Its not hard to imagine how a single shooter could be discovered, have his gun jam, be obstructed to the target, etc.

In any real world criminal probe / historical investigation (the JFK assassn. is both) we expect some of our evidence 2 B erroneous. Documents record "facts" that turn out 2 B untrue. Witnesses say things that are wrong & sometimes downright wild. But suppose you're not willing to write off documents & witnesses as mistaken. What kind of theories does that lead to ? What we have now :

In real-world criminal investigations having literally dozens of suspects is an indication that the probe is in very deep & serious trouble.

The evidence isn't converging to point to one suspect or a few suspects who may have conspired. The evidence against 1 suspect is about as good as the evidence against any other :

Conspiracists seem to like big conspiracies. Such conspiracies allow the theorist to explain away all the evidence against LHO. After all, all the witnesses & investigators who produced such evidence can be branded liars & big conspiracies are satisfying because they can include all the groups one happens to dislike. But do these CT's pass muster as sound logic ? Well they do if JFK was killed by what Bugliosi has tabulated as 218 assassin's & 44 major entity's SO FAR !

@FORESTTEMPLE The person who got into the Nash Rambler was Jack Lawrence, whom I believe to have been the shooter in the Book Depository. Lawrence was former Air Force, and scored high on his marksmanship tests, unlike Oswald. Lawrence was a car salesman at the Bolton Ford dealership near Dealey Plaza. He began working there a few weeks before the assassination, and conveniently quit a few days after. Lawrence was witnessed as having shown up to work very late, at 1:00 PM in the afternoon.

It should also be noted that Lawrence's car, a loaner from the dealership, was found parked in the parking lot behind the picket fence in Dealey Plaza. His strange behavior, and the circumstances surrounding his time in Dallas point heavily to his being part of the assassination team. Almost certainly a rifleman.

Oswald had long left the Depository and had no doubt gulped down his Coke by that time.

Of all the films and still photo's taken immediately after the assassination , not one shows LHO or a Nash Station Wagon !

AAMOF LHO himself admitted that he took a bus & then a Taxi to his rooming house after leaving the TSBD . He had his receipt from the bus ride , numerous witnesses saw him on the bus & the taxi driver identified Oswald as his passenger !

Its already been well proven that the time frames on your Oswald scenario don't add up.

If you're maintaining any hope that Oswald killed Tippit and Kennedy, than you better embrace the station wagon idea and believe he had accomplices.

Of coarse, you won't take a lead which might help your argument because then you'd have to acknowledge Craig's credibility, and you don't want that because Craig is a "liar" with multiple attempts on his life and a witness to a different rifle being found.
