Take Yonge Street subway north to Eglinton, transfer to #34 bus (Eglinton East). Get off at Don Mills Road.
Or take Bloor subway east to Pape, transfer to #25 (Don Mills) bus. Get off at St. Dennis Drive right in front of the pipe organ. As you step off the bus, the North division (12-jet hydraulophone) will be to your right, and the South division (45-jet hydraulophone) will be to your left.
He just walked over and played it with zero practice (first time in his life he encountered the instrument). If you want to learn hydraulophone, it's easy to play a recognizable song. However, with many years of practice you can get better and better at affecting the subtle changes in tone, dynamics, timbre, and expression and make each note into a time-varying sculpture. Because the water is "soft and squishy", years of practice can give you an ability to do intricate expression.
