The only way to cover the blower is with a 6 inch cowl. He had one, but it was so big on the car, he decided to leave it exposed. Looked much cooler then a huge cowl.

The only problem I have with this is that he needed the cut a hole in the hood to fit it on, thus LOOSING the sleeper look. If he was even to put a cowl hood on it, it could still be a sleeper (but that would be up for debate.

And the ford engines are way more advanced Than those pushrod dinosuar chevy motors. and all you faggits talking about the the LS7 its 7.0L (its fucking huge) it better make some power.

niether is the LS7 but the VortecMAX is a truck engine while the LS7 is a performance engine. the engines i suggested would be more equal to to their similar amounts of power.

but both of those ford engines are supercharged while the GM engines are N/A. does that tell you something about Ford? they have forced induction to try to keep up with GM and they still can't. They really need to design a brand new engine and quit using 4.6 and 5.4 for everthing.

ford begaine to phase out their push-rod v8s in 92 because push-rods motors are old technoligy, as faw as i know cadillac is the only division of GM that has an OHC v8 and its, get this! a 4.6L, they may have other sizes but im not sure, ford uses small ci engines with s/c becuase they have a flater torque curve, if gm wants more power out of a v8 they just make it bigger, which works but they need to come up with something new or is dagreeing more than one camshaft to had

pushrods may be old technology but it works. GM has been designing them forever and they kick ass. They dont need something new they have tons of different V8s. Ford has 2 (gasoline)

The only nice thing about pushrod engines is that you do not need to mess with the timing setup to pull the heads.

gm uses pushrod motors because they are more reliable, compact(compare a mod 4.6 ford to a ls1 and you will understand), lighter weight and produce excellent power, and get this, a flat torque curve. Ford needs to use the blower on their motors because the fact is they just cant compete without it period!!!!

The ls1 is leaps and bounds ahead of anything from supercharged ford. think Z06 and dont forget what happens when you supercharge a ls1. 650 horsepower zr1. thanks, have a nice day.
