Certainly, Regine Velasquez is one of the Best Singers in the whole world! This song has been made truly for her! :) It is just funny how people had reacted on the show right after she sung the final note! it was just like an ordinary performance in amateur singing contest! but it doesn't matter, i know filipinos are so proud to her!...keep it up!

From then 'til now, the Asia's Songbird delivers a song with such ease and yet powerful and full of emotions. She sang this song so many times and I do consider this performance as her 2nd best. Her 2006 rendition of this song at SOP is still on the top of my list! Thanks for sharing;)

Regine's soul NATURALLY comes out with her voice...singers of our present times say the sing with "emotions" which i don't really see and feel. they sing with emotions? express it through what? crumpled faces? stupid dance steps, and other martial arts-like movements? shaky, strained high notes that go here and there and everywhere?THE NERVE!

Regine's performance is very clean and all notes are in tact, both low and high...vocal control is the word...she sounds so stable unlike the signers today that sings so shaky and flat and forced and strained...Regine sings with an open throat while singers nowadays sound so constricted and look like dying just to hit a note...Regine's low notes are solid and clear while modern singers' low notes sound like hell

you can really see and hear the difference of young Regine and the young "divas" nowadays...NONE of the modern day singers perform as intense as this...the right amount of emotions combined with exceptional technical abilities that our singers now don't possess...Regine conveys the message of the song with each strand of each note she sings and very minimal face and body movements...and not by exaggerated facial expressions and sunny karate chops and kicks like what others do...
