The Zombie Sentry was fighting Ash in what Ash called the gates of Heaven, and then Ash push Sentry into a Portal of realities. Ash jumped in there and follow him to the Zombiverse.

He was so strong he punched a whole in reality which led him to the marvel universe where he laid waste to the Avengers.
