This is by far the hardest race I have done, gets to 1st by lap 3, then get spun by a duschebag, then have to get back in it from 12th and if lucky finish 5-7, the other hardest championship I have is the Formula GT, If only I were allowed to use my x2011 prototype, these races would be done in 2 seconds.

You have to watch out in this race, because opponents are very aggressive, i had to restart about 15 times because i was blocking them and they span my car out. I managed to get silver also on A-Spec, as on B-Spec.

at least there aren't 100 Laps and no tire wear. That would be a disaster, it's like every time someone random wins. My B-Spec was slamming hard his opponents, and was 1st on last 10 laps (of 20), but in the last lap, last section one motherfucker passed him, so i will have to do this again later... :@

you cant hold the lead in gt5 nascar the other guys always draft, pass then you draft and pass... the only thing about that game is the drafting. :P but i think you can adjust the restrictor plate ayy?

this race is stupid. i have beat all other nascar races with gold, but in this one i have a faster car, i set my gears to keep up my speed around corners, im good at drafting... its those fucking ai drivers its always lap 5 to 7 when all they do is try and ram me off the road. after lap 5 ive never had one pass me, ive gone to the far left of the track on the straight to avoid them but they go almost into the grass just to take me out.i dont know nascar but wouldnt they be disqualified for that?

You just have to be patient...increase the speed setting to 249mph and you will fly by them on the straights (most notably the Backstraight) And do your best to stay up about half a lane in the corners. If you are in the proper positioning on the last lap, you should pass for the lead heading into turns 3 and 4. Stay as low as you can, and try to block in the dogleg before the Finish Line. Make sure you don't do any eratic steering because when the AI bump draft you, you will crash into the wall

When you have ASM on, it slows your car down a lot in the turns. For some reason it wouldn't let me turn off ASM, so all I did was set ABS to 0 and it automatically disables ASM. Also added some toe out on the front wheels. Got gold pretty easy this way.

I so cant win this race, the AI is terrible. I have even played with the gearbox im finding it so hard. Has anyone got any tips ? or a racing package ?

lower your car height by 5 each (front&back)

aerodynamics front 10, back 20

rise your gearbox settings by 2

chose AT

chose "front camera" view (like in the video)

try ALWAYS to drive in windshield. even in the high corners drive same height as your opponent to stay in windshield

i managed to get gold with this tactic

my results went better when i decreased the aeros by 4 each (front 11,rear 21)

Try tunring your aerodynamics upto 10 notches and also make sure you have super soft tyres on

I keep getting spun out by the AI on literally the last 1 second of the race, screwing me over. How come I can only lower the aerodynamics to 20 on the front, someone else mentioned also lowering it to 10, but 20 is the lowest on the front. Can anyone clarify?
