    To avoid bitter flavours ZenithDave, you need to avoid overcooking onion and particularly garlic. If you fry them until slightly coloured they will be fine. Another common cause of bitter flavours is where you have made a paste or gravy from onion / garlic / ginger and UNDERcooked it. It can take hours of gentle cooking to make them taste sweet.

  • Good video, cheers there are so many video recipes out there that are crap nice to see the green peppers, onions and tomatoes in this. To make the base Gravy see the video from Dipuraja1 he does fantastic base gravy.

  • I am looking at this 'cos I bought a chicken bhuna from iceland for £1.50. I thought it would be dire, but it isn't half bad. So I wanted a recipe. Can someone try the 1 from iceland and let me know if it is a bhuna?
