Nice, but I don't think she was 16 at this point. I saw her at the Philly Folk Fest. and that was either 70 or 71. I seem to recall that she was in her early 20s at that stage.
@bakedsushi I don't think that it's take 16. This is a live radio show. I'm old enough to remember them doing this alot in the early days of the FM underground radio. She was hot at this point in time. I'd just seen her at the Philly Folk Festival with Freebo.Sigma Sound had a few concerts with Todd Rudgren and the Flying Burrito Brothers.
@harvey1954 No I said and meant the poster..........look to the left and on his page, he numbered all of them. ex. Bluebird is number 06 Cant find my way home is number 12 Mighty tight women is number 01
I feel ya bro been a fan for a long time too way back when she and Taj Mahal played in boston and NYC
back in her Lowel Geroge crush days when she joined in Little Feat on many shows.....Peace
Sorry I said take, I meant the poster numberd his tracks
Never heard this version before. It may be even better than the version on her debut album, if that's possible. Loved Bonnie since I 1st saw her open for Jackson B. in '74, I think it was. She's still great!
Bonnie has vocal quality that makes everything she sing beautiful.

@harvey1954 Pretty sure he meant Take 16, in 1972 she was 22 but looking at his posts he has numbered them

@harvey1954
It's the 16th song of the set. My apologies if I created some confusion.

Thanx for posting this version. I bet there's about 50 recorded covers of this classic and Bonnie is stunning.
