This game was banned in England because the authorities there were concerned that a child might actually try to carry out a real operation in a busy hospital if they played this game, they didnt want young kids playing a few games of this and then trying to perform a tripple heart bypass on ther sleeping parents, to stop that happening the British authorities banned this game

Homer Simpson Operation's buzzer was less harsh (and Homer would talk if you set it off :-D)
