If there is one thing I'll give iron man credit is that he makes his own suits, but that's about it. The only problem thing is, is that we will never have anything on iron mans level ever. But for Batman, it can happen for his equipment is based on known physical and developing science.

@xy274 If I am not mistaken this is already deployed.  Anyway the beam is so painful that no one is going to be in it long enough to likely cause serious damage. I'd say it still beats shooting the enemy if you don't want to kill them because a bullet is much more dangerous and most are still made out of lead which is also a carcinogen by the way. A weapon is a weapon. I don't think any effective weapon will every be completely 'safe', just 'less lethal'.

Love bateman, but if you went and did a real matchup, yes still fake but maxing out heroes powers batman would get his ass kicked 100x over. Again not real life, but a simulation using all available powers.
