Shreya goshal is really nice! Some people may lyk this rendition but to me in this rendition the original feeling and flavour of the song is lost.Howevr,music is for our pleasure and we should have the ears fr listening to it. many people have different tastes and choices. I wish they'd kept the instrumental reworking which is simply beautiful. The 'ooh-la-la' bit is an awkward juxtaposition, at least for me. That's not because it's 'Rabindranath' and therefore somehow 'sacred': it's simply because the words describe an atmosphere in which the emotions created are different to a semi-yodel. And it's not like the composer hasn't understood that: the instrumental music is simply mind-blowing.

Goodness Gracious ! Amazingly refreshing this tune is - especially for the "HybridBongs" like me. I never thought Rabindra sangeet can be so melodiously danceable. I might just mix this up a notch or two into a pumping House/Drum and Bass track. I knew Anjan Dutta was talented but apparently his son who composed this tune is well worth watching out for. Chaliye jao ! Ekghor tune ! Do it just for the Non Resident 2nd Generation Bongs like us !
