  • I can play this almost perfectly on the flute.. It's amazing song.. On the oboe not so much :(

  • 2:40-3:10 Is my absolute favorite part. I get to play violin for this, too. Hard as shit.

  • Mr. Saucedo is my High School band director and a friend of mine.

  • @Tarem20 I love his compositions, great rhythms and interesting melodies with enough dissonance to be amazing.

  • This is one my competition pieces. O_O

  • we used a part of this song for our marching show in 2010 ! I love this (:

  • i can see this song in a epic anime movie or like at the slow parts someone falling

  • trumpet for life! (cornet actually...)

  • I'm playing first french horn for this piece in seventh grade! I really am having fun with this piece. You guys sound really good!

  • You guys sound good :) I'm playing first clarinet for my eighth grade year and we just started learning. We sound pretty good considering it's our third day, but we can get to measure 103 and then we fail miserably. Haha, its impossible at times. I love it.

  • Tenor sax part is BEAST!!

  • I play Xylophone in that song.

  • Ohhh memories!

  • i played first F horn in this piece you dick!

  • Could be a bit better in tune....

at least for the low voices at the slow part, it seems one of the tuba's is sharp; same with the clarinets.

    good peice though :D

  • I'm piano accompanist for this at my school (which apparently is the best music government school in our state!)

  • i played first trombone in this when i was in seventh grade with the high school band (and if you think im kidding, watch the jackson academy band marching band 2010. that was my 7th grade year. read between the lines with music from led zeppelin

  • Learning this for next year's national eisteddford... But for now it just sounds like noise... Though for once our saxaphones were on track... I wish us reed players wouldn't be so ignored by our conductors -.-

  • This song is amazing. I play flute and we're playing this in band. The only part I hate to play is measure 72 or 73, where there's only flutes playing. The high C sounds great, but when Flute 2 goes down to the high B flat, I cringe. I don't like that part at all. But the rest is amazing!

  • i play trombone! we played that this year my fav. song we played. :)

  • We're performing this song at a festival. :)

  • 2:00-2:20

The clarinets are having issues with pitch

    Its bothering me

  • we're playing this in concert band class :)

  • Its great music, but for an all-state band, you really dont do it justice. Some of the timing was god aweful. I played this a while back and enjoyed a lot. Very intense music. I give Mr. Saucedo props.

  • My class just sight read this in class today and we all love it <3 <3 <3 <3

  • i played this at the 2011 WKU Honor Band with Mr, Saucedo as the director. Beatiful piece and amazing director!

  • 3:59 on and that whole section was just damn awful.

The rest of it sounds great, though.

    Nice job overall.

  • I just played this 2 days ago and I already noticed that there are rythm mistakes in this recording such as people are a half a beat behind, etc.

  • There needs to be more of the low brass and low reeds you cant really hear them as much as you needed too. This was beautifully played Very nice job I loved it! I'm playing this song this year for my spring concert in April and hope we sound as good as this xD

  • I simply loved this piece, and I am glad you all agree. Thank you to Mr. Saucedo for composing such a moving song. I was 6th chair French horn in this band.

  • We are playing this i the freshman band! Mr saucedo is a band director at our school!

  • Its weird that this is performed in Mississippi when I see Mr. Saucedo every day XD

  • I played this when I was in school as a band member. It is really cool!!!!
