I just fail to see how L.A Noire is so different by theme and environment from Mafia and Mafia II where both brought huge deal about actors and not just voice actors. Just different story and direction to such world.

3 Major cons for me, sadly i like the era and setting and LA but the cases the way you solve them is very repetitive. each case you find the same kind of evidence each time at even similar places. And the Interrogation i find very limited, you either choose doubt, truth or lie and then bring up evidence from your notes and such I miss a good dialogue system like Sierra or Lucas Arts. or even using the suspect own words against him i miss that. and as third LA coming to PC and not RDR

Found it to be a mixed bag, the scene is nice, lots of voiceovers,

however the fight scenes are pretty average, most of the characters are just rehashed with a new style of clothing and call it someone else.

trying to decide whether the other person is lying or not is very hit and miss, obvious signs dont mean anything.

and in some respects you chose to go easy or hard on someone when interigating and the response is the opposite. ie being nice to a kid and the character yells at her

Or buy a PS3 which the game runs better on since it was developed on PS3 then ported over to 360. Plus we got a exclusive case you won't get anywhere else, plus we only got 1 disc instead of 360's 3. So when you want to replay a case on the 360 you would have to switch discs.

I wouldn't call it a "Rockstar Game" because all they did was put the label "Rockstar Games" to advertise or publish the game for Team Bondi. I enjoyed the game a bit, but it just got more annoying and boring later on. But, It was new and creative and had amazing facial expressions. But if I had to chose LA Noire or GTA. I would go with GTA.

The main character is just awful imo. Instead of a badass Red Dead style anti-hero, we get a brown-nose, well educated good boy. I thought it was done on purpose so that later on he changes and we discover a bit about his background, but nope, he's still the same guy in a suit with a wife and a kid about whom we know almost nothing. The game didn't give me a single reason to care for the protagonist + there's so many plots going on at once I've just stopped caring for any of them at one point..

@Itsooz I know what you're saying, but I can see where they were going with him. He was supposed to be a brown-nosing asshole, and his old unit despised him. The problem was they didn't make a convincing turn-around in the end after his affair was uncovered, since we spent so little time with him in arson and instead gave the story to Kelso. We're told by Ilsa that he's become more humble, but we don't see it. Had they fleshed out arson more, it would've been a perfect story.
