visited fremont street nov 2011 - awesome experience that I bet a lot of vegas visitors dont get to hear of course they stay around the strip. not to be missed
fewmont street expierence 90 miles se of area 51 and groom lakes with daily transport in and out of area 51 and groom lakes from las vegas airport are high tech areas first to get the tech slowly realeased to industry ive said too much
Fremont Street was really fun. There was this show, the old-time casinos and signs, and there were street dancers. There were Elvises and showgirls everywhere wanting to pose for pictures for tips, along with a few Michael Jacksons, Jimi Hendrixes, etc. Take a taxi from the strip and check it out.
@deborelli I have been to Las Vegas 11 times in the past 11 years and Fremont Street is by far my favorite place to spend time. The hotels are affordable, the gambling is reasonable and the entire vibe is relaxed and fun (not to mention that everything is within walking distance!) I love Las Vegas and I love Fremont Street :-)
Freemont is the best Vegas experience... It's packed with people looking to have fun... The strip is full of drunk idiots looking to cause trouble, not to mention the d@mn "Girls Direct To You" group passing out the Hooker Trading Cards!!
Even if you stay on the Strip, you should definitely spend one evening checking out Fremont Street. There's a lot to see, and there are some good restaurants, too.
i saw this last night and i was shaking it was so good!! after this they had a AMAZING queen tribute and then kiss and then i had to leave but it was great!
Memorizing and emotional... I cried when I saw this... My family planned this show out especially for me... Cause I love the oldies and America's history and am a total 50's, 60's and 70's fa-reak! They got me! I cried... It touched me! :o) If you love the history of music and america... you'll love this show... And it's FREE! AMAZING!
@tsorby87 seriously i felt the same way when i saw this, i was just there yesterday at the four queen, i loved it more than the strip, we met wonderful people, and had tons of fun, erik at fremont was the best bartender, everyone should stop by there for 2 heinekens, and coronas, and 99 cents margaritas!
If you are ever in Vegas, I HIGHLY recommend going downtown just to see this. The reaction this show gets is incredible. Everyone stops and just looks mesmerized. By the end you can hear everyone singing along and it's just so much fun. The visuals are amazing and so well done. My favorite Viva Vision presentation to date.
I Stayed In The Flamingo And I Saw This Light Show On Freemont Street On The Night Of July 28 2008. It Was An Amazing Experience. It's Amazing Watching That Light Show When You're Actually There!
We were staying at the 4 Queens and this was the most amazing show. Forget The Strip, this is the best of Vegas.
The visual interpretation of this clasic song was brilliant, from Mick Jagger with horns (Jack Flash sat on a candle stick) to Janis Joplin (the girl who sang the Blues), and that rocket (Generation lost in space) left me speachless.
