Comparison to the fascinate. !!!!!DONT BE FOOLED BY THE 4G!!!!!!! The device spends about 80% of the time on 3g! Maybe it depends on the area idk i live in miami florida i would think that 4g is definitely accesible. Overall the camera is the major factor in the phone. I have already lost 3 calls on the phone, failed to send over 10 messages (never happened on my fascinate) and couldnt connect to youtube and such over 5 times. The phone isnt all that its cracked up to be. Network is craptastic

I have the refurbished samsung charge. I had the fascinate. I had The fascinate for 6 months before losing it. The fascinate was 3g and i had literally like 1 dropped call ever. And only about 2 times where i couldnt connect to youtube and such. The charge is supposed to have like 600 minutes of batterlife but thats complete bullshit. I would say thats possible if the brightness is turned to its lowest setting and used rarely. The camera is very nice however, the internet speed lacks in comparis

It does have an sd card slot. Its actually one of very few that can be swapped with out removing the battery.

@PomSheeba You probably won't find any, These phones are capacitive, which isn't heat sensitive really. They sense changes in electrical charge. Since our bodies hold a charge naturally, that's where you get the movement on the screen. What you are looking for, is a straight touch sensitive or pressure sensitive phone and that is an old technology so unless you downgrade a couple years I doubt you'll find what you are looking for.

i just got my Droid Charge today and I am obsessed with it! Went from the powerful iphone 4 to a droid and I am extremely impressed! Beautiful graphics, bigger screen, and an overall great phone! If you're looking into getting this phone, definitely get it! =)

Just wish it had better battery life. It is on the large end but all the 4g phones are massive 4.3'' screens. With launcher pro it speeds up a bit too touch wiz sucks...Also the sideloaded apps are simply annoying.

How does the typing feel, Ive got a good sized hand so are the buttons big enough and comfortable enough for fast typing? Also does it a have a memo pad with a character limit? I write alot on the go so I need a functional keyboard and a good memo pad, really appreciate your opinion.

@soccerlvr402 also, to keep battery @ its best u have to make sure no apps are running in the background by going to your task manager and kill the apps as well as turning off ur data by swiping down from the top screen and pressing the button with the 2 arrows and that's it.

i have the droid charge, really awesome phone if i may say, display is better than my droid X. battery life kinda sucks, thats why i have a car charger and bring my wall outlet charger to work. plus the volume buttons is on the left and the power button is on the right. i keep pushing the power button if i want to control the volume and it bothers me because you actually bring up options when you press the button.

I own this one.. Yesterday was my "Return or Your Stuck with it Day..." I kept it! don't believe the hype.. this phone is fast.. and the screen is simply incredible! will do voice/data over Wi-Fi as well and with all the " Live Moving Wallpaper" backgrounds on this screen.. you will be stunned.. Heavy Tv / Utube use does warm it to the touch.. so what will Dual-Cores feel like on a Hot Day & Heavy Usage ?.. Hmm? That's one reason I stuck with the Charge.. Trust me.. Its a Bad Ass Phone..

The Charge problem of freezing when using as a hotspot after 5-7 minutes is a network problem! Not a phone problem,,, it also needs to be re-booted when moving from a 3G to 4G network.

I'm in Portland, OR... I just pulled 27Mbps! I routinely get 20!!!! I ditched my AT&T iPhone 4 for this baby... I love it! I found the display to be superior to the Thunderbolt... just my preference.
