THE EASIEST THING TO STEAL IS OLD SCHOOL SAMPLE MUSIC AND SINCE MOST PRODUCERS DONT HAVE THE MONEY AND KNOWLEDGE TO GET THERE WORK OR RECREATIONS COPY RIGHTS SAMPLED MUSIC IS THE EASIEST TO STEAL ... THATS WHY I DONT SAMPLE NOW LOL ALL ORGINAL SO IF SOMEONE STEALS MY SHYT IM SUING THEM WORD !
oh and on this video how do we know ur tellin tha truth not sayin ur not but how do we know for sure juss cuz u tell us ok not enuff and again not sayin ur not juss sayin
no the moral of the story is not to post ya shit on the net not even with a tag in it cuz ppl will juss replay it so DONT POST YA SHIT ON THE NET! unless u dont mind ppl stealin it then thats ur prob
I understand the frustration that you must feel when you work your ass off to make music and hear something like that, but if you sample the same song its gonna sound very similar lol. I would also sample the "Feels like I'm falling" part of the song since its the catchiest part. Its not rocket science, you both just had the same idea. 1st off stop being paranoid. 2nd, stop sampling and strive to be an artist that EVERYONE ELSE wants to sample.
oH MY GOD its one thing i cant stand that is a fucking thief fuck that shit i dont trust a mouthafucka in the game and i copyright all my shit i cant stand to hear stuff like that is makes me sad cus i know mothafuckers be stilling and i know cats that get they shit stole and that aint the way it suppose to be
This vid is ridicilous....The similar sound in the two beats is the vocal part, both sampled from "Fell for you" By The dramatics....But other than that, the beat is completely different...Thats a rule among producers, when you send out your beat your risking someone using the same sample as you & reusing it better than you did originally....Theres nothing illegal about that....
Rap and Hip Hop are constantly stealing shit and it's "artists" are just fucking lazy and unfortunately make money on stupid fans that either don't have a wide variety of music or just share the lack of integrity like those "artists".
its funny cuz my cousin LRoc makes jd's tracks and he told me a while back he was makin a beat for jay-z american gangster album it so he was the one who flipped it not jd lol he dont make beats no more haha!!!!!
that's not beat stealing, Cause it isn't the same. many producer's use a sample that are the same, but beat is differen't. that's legal. he use a sample not your beat. im a producer so i know. i can sample your beat, but no mre than 2bars7sec. of a sample. another part your beat will add to what i took witch makes it more than 8.0 secs. that would cost me. or i have to get rights from you.
yeah it's not right at all. It's really fucked up but he took the track and flipped it up a bit so it's not the same and therefore it's not illegal to use it.
all those popular producers jack lesser known producers samples. It's well known by established underground producers that the ones at the top of the business are frauds. Thats why you dont respect them, you don't listen to the, and you expecially dont give them any lame ass demos to rip from you.
Acording to this video clip this guy submitted the tracks in 2006 but the cd shown at the begining is labelled Feb 2007. ?????Somebody ain't telling the truth.
Originality...has gone out the window. Rappers of today are like japanese of the past, take something that's already been made, like a radio for example, and try to make it batter. The play on on words, "sampling" it's a cop out. Won't somebody knuckle up and be original?
you should know that the producers and rappers in the industry will steal from there moms to pay those high ass bills that they make for them self..p.s. but you can't claim it if it was a sample and how do you think the artist feel that you sample from ?
A label has a lot more money to spend to get the better soundkits, hell they can make their own.. Plus a mastered version is going to sound "live" and in your face because a mastering engineer fixed it. I credit the mastering engineer for "more justice" but anyone could get it mastered..
Sampling is fair game..It's not the same beat..It's the same sample..You couldn't prove in any court of law that they got the idea to use that sample from you. Just like you dig through the crates, so do other folks. HIP-HOP 101.
I can't believe I'm saying this but, I liked JD's version better. But if I submitted a beat and heard the cat I gave it too using the sample I used, I would be pissed. Was your shit copywrited?
I disagree beat making is an art and finding samples is part of that art so because jd has a professional engineer brighten up the sample and give him som tight industry drums dont mean he flipped it better the real question is if he didnt hear the first version would he have came up with the inspiration to use the sample remember jd can always take the beat to a profession studio and say make it better which is easy to do cause the hard part which is the inpiration has already been layed down
I dont think jd version is better any beat sound good when u have a master word smith like jay-z on it his version was more dark and gritty and I think jay would of really killed it poring his heart out the way he was jd gets no props in my book sorry
using the same sample, clearing it, replacing the drum pattern completely with better drum sounds... umm making the sample cleaner and brought it up front more... umm nope... that's not stealing just made a better beat with the same sample
nothings real in this game anymore. had a few gill scott heron chop beats on my soundclick that were getting hit up like mad... and heard a kanye beat just like it 3 months later.. JUST like it :| same cuts, same chops, just different arrangement and tempo.. i have no idea how the two songs came to be SO alike...
he might of stolen the sample but first off jd flipped it way better...it would be different if he used the sample in the same format...i think jd's version is way better
man he would have ever would have been able to copyright that beat, you got paid for that beat its dead
