That looked fun i want to try it too this railway line and tunnel does anyone know if it is still visable or did the council excavate it? i remember seeing the orange brick tunnel and line around 1993
As far as I know the council filled in the south end in 1983. I don't know about the North end.
If you look at the map, you can trace the line of the railway from opposite the High Kirk, down past the back of th epolice station and through to where the nightclub in the former Weslyan chapel is on Ward Road.
The chapel was built on the site of the original Dundee Station and the incline ran up the line of Drummond Street and upper Constitution road (more or less).
Awesome; i was wondering if anyone had filmed themselves doing this. I've started riding up the law recently - starting from the car park behind abertay uni and then slowly winding my way up...quite tough - the first time i did this it felt like my throat had been ripped out. I ride a shiny new Specialised Rockhopper - what bike you on?
GREAT video! That took me back. I know every turn in the Law road. BTW. Years ago I remember exploring under the Law hill. I went with a few mates into the old railway tunnel and we took an old map to measure how far we managed to walk under. Spooky but fun.
Great vid once again. Whats next? The Tay Road Bridge? ;)
velcro cable ties and bungees. I used pipe lagging as padding. For the side shots, front shots and worms eye view the camera was on a tripod strapped to the bike.
Dangerous at any speed.

Kewl! The descent was great, Flight of the Valkyries was a bonus!
I'm not a bike guy, but I'd say if you can jog up there without stopping, following the road or cross-country, you're not bad in the fitness stakes.
Watch out for dogs and traffic, though!

That`s a bit pointless. What i mean was u rode all the way up and didn`t filmed what it was like up there.

That is why it is called 'up and down' not 'on the top of' Dundee Law. The title gives it away really.
It is the journey, not the destination.

'It is the journey, not the destination.'
In one sentence, you've just summed up life for mankind.
