I'm sooo excited she won!!! I had the chance to intern with her at the local cbs station in indy and for all of the negative people who has something bad to say about her...y'all need 2 stop, because she is not full of herself AT ALL! When she was competing for miss indiana, she was truly focused on her internship and her education. she is truly a down to earth person who really cares about helping anyone. so don't say anything about someone if you don't even know them.

I met Katie about a few months ago. You're right about her. She is really grounded, and when she was signing autographs, she had sure she had every person's spelling correct.

There's something genuine about Katie, and as a Hoosier, I'm proud of this UIndy Greyhound and Miss America.
