  • wish i'd been around then

  • i'm so tantalizing close to 13, and i love the old songs. they are so much more happier and more....well, better >.<

WHAT HAPPENED TO LETTING THE GOOD TIMES ROLL, ROLL ALL NIGHT LONG?!

  • I am 16 , and am absolutely in love with 50s music <3

  • @mariahrose318318 IM 14 and I LUV 6o's music XD

  • I wish I was a kid during the 50's

  • Wow...I really tripped out on "Knickerbockers" and "Sons of Fred". I never heard of them. Thanks for adding the obscure tunes. It's making me more interested.

  • I wouldn't call "Mr. Tambourine Man" or "Wouldn't It Be Nice" oldies. They're too different from the others.

  • Great video.

    Thanks for the memories.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • Certainly had a magical sound back then. Its a shame that recording quality was poor on some of those classics due to the technology.

  • could have picked a better selection

  • I was brought up with the music of the 50's and 60's..more than half of these artists I never even heard of...or their songs..maybe they just weren't good enough to be played here in Canada at the time.

  • oldies but mostly NOT goodies

  • ... boooh ist das schlecht ...

  • Where's part II?

  • could you have picked any more unknown songs?

  • These are not Oldies!! They are late 60s! Ewwe, I was tricked. And 98% of these i never heard of! WTF

  • @defzex I think there's only like two that are late 60's.

  • @jesseatx512 me too

  • I'm sorry but most of all these were from the 1960s...and LATE 1960s at that. I absolutely HATE when people confuse the 1950's with the 60's or worse, try to pass one for the other. I prefer music from the 50's and it's difficult to have to sit through songs from the 60's passed off for another genre of music (50s)

  • where'd you get that crap ?

  • 50s angry music didn't make it, but 60's anti-war music made it. Then the 70s got happy again. I'd say a tremendous amount of the music today is so angry. What's going on?

  • you know music is bad these days when a lot of young kids like this music over todays music

  • Wheres the wing dance music with all the harmonys of the woman in lovely dresses hmm? :/

  • Good, but no Duane Eddy

  • love love love it!! course, being 15, i like modern stuff too (mostly metal-such a contrast :P) but i love these songs too ^^

  • I'm only 30, so I never got to experience the 50's and 60's, unfortunately. But I love the music, and always have. It's so much better than most of the stuff that is out these days. Where is that delorean when you need it? ;)

  • @cheetopuff80 tengo 17 años y tambien me encanta esta epoca =D <3 love from peru

  • Oh mercy!! Such memories you've summoned.

  • The Righteous Brothers were truly something special.

  • chazzz you da man.

  • I think there was a great bit of speech I heard from Watchmen

"Even though the present is bleak and the future looks bleaker the past always seems to be brighter even the bad times." But I can not remember who said it.

  • Las mejores peliculas de todos los tiempos tienen como fondo musica de los años MARAVILLOSOS...GRACIAS POR STA MARAVILLOSA MUSICA

  • maan i like the very smooth transitions in between the song nice job

  • its nice to hear some real music and real voices instead of retarded robot crap like whats on the radio.

  • this is real talent , not like today. there voices are so beautiful

  • dude

  • u know something is wrong with our music today( well most of it) when my 13 year old is singing the big Boppers songs word from word.

  • the music in the old days are a lot better that the shitty stuff from the present day dont u agree

  • no i dont

  • Stupid notice... it's just different, both are cool

  • @legomodels I agree that the vintage music were really awesome. but you've got to cope with the change. cause today's generation is pleased with of course, the music of today. and someday when time made the current songs to be old, they will also disapprove the music in the future and prefer the music from their own years...

  • @manuelcristopher Unfortunately, what that ultimately proves is that the standards are continually degrading and the public accepts it more with each generation. There is good music produced today, but you must weed through more and more trash to find it because there is so much more of it that is so easily and cheaply produced.

  • @49kasey well... that is one of the mere facts (the bad facts) about today's music... less genuine... when it comes to musicality... ^_^

  • @legomodels Hey :) Yeah, I am going to have to disagree with you. You probably haven't heard but a few lady gaga songs and immediatly thought," Oh my god this sucks." Yea, I admit, some of it does, but some of it is just amazing! So don't put down the nowaday music till you actually listen to the lyrics and the rhythem of the now generation. and Plus, I know a lot of old music that is just the worst music I have heard in my life. so yea. Thanks Bye.

  • @legomodels youre totally right, the music from today's days are only about alchohol, stupid and inappropriate parties, sex, and motherfuckers.

  • I Love the oldies trying to understand the feel cause I work w/the elderly of these times and I often run the happy hour Friday party's
