i have the same thing~ a very large hooded crow keeps pecking at an upstairs window~i'm worried he'll break it as he bangs very hard~he has made a right mess on the pane~been there for over a week~no point in letting him in as he woldnt like that i'm sure~hope he stops soon~peace
Don't worry - a crows break isn't strong enough to break a window. We found we could stop him by putting something over the outside of the window, so that he couldn't see his reflection.
Thank you. Each attack generally started around 4:30 in the morning and lasted for about 20 to 30 minutes. The crow would then attack another window or sometimes the front door.
Jochen...reminds me of a canny robin at mid-ulster garden centre....deliberately flies into the restaurant window to get attention...big fan of the Roe Valley News browser!
We think it sees its reflection in the window pane and fights another crow. At the time, the birds were rearing their young in one of our trees and it was possibly protecting them.

Hello
If that Robin does it every morning at the crack of dawn, then they are related.
Nice to hear you read the Browser!!
