He probably has the best form and, p4p, the most explosive power of any K1 fighter ever. In this sense, he is the Mike Tyson of K1.

Unfortunately, he unloads those perfect combos seemingly at random; he has no sense of timing - and this may be why his record is so mixed.

Michael inspires all of us that kickbox and aren't the tallest or the guy with the longest legs. Shorter people shouldn't be discouraged, I find that it's harder to fight people that are more "grounded" and "stocky."

I agree. I don't believe the saying a good big en will always beat a good small en. I am short for a heavyweight boxer (5ft11) & i absolute love it. Nothing fells better than when a big lad tries using his reach by just jabbing then you see an opening & bring him down to size :P

I find that anyone who knows how to utilize their size to relative maximum potential is extremely dangerous. Perfect example is Bonjasky vs Mcdonald. Stand still all match because even tho 1 is short and stocky and the other is tall and lanky.

Well, Hoost has retired from fighting. Hes now training some very well rounded fighters. McDonald is sadly on a slow decline to retirement. Last time I saw Mark Hunt he was in Pride FC doing very well. I'll have to get up to date on each fighter.

Yeah, I always did hate the fact that he only has one or two other highlights, and they both are either poor quality or just not good in general. At the time I didn't have much to work with (as you can see). I think I did a decent job though. The black sniper must be recognized! Hes a very talented fighter, and kind person.

He was the first fighter a saw when I found out about K-1 fighting. I was watching TV on a late night with my girl and we saw him damn near kick this guy's head off. Then he turned around and did the same thing to his next opponent. The black sniper is amazing.

Most people compare kick boxing to regular boxing is because of the fact that kick boxers use more of their body as a weapon. Such as legs, knees, and elbows. With that they have to train more parts of their bodies to become deadlier. So, it's easy to see why people think kick boxers are better all round when comparing them to normal boxers.
