I think the absolute most painful ways to die (physically and psychologically) are 1- being on fire. 2-being chopped up or eaten alive. 3-strangling or being suffocated. 4-freezing to death. After that probably drowning as the time between first sensation to unconsciousness is the fastest and least painful compared to the above 4. Of course the ultimate way to die is from impact with below freezing water after falling out of a noose while being eaten by a shark that's on fire.

I would rather freeze to death then drown... Of course my problem with this movie is why not just hold your breath instead of panicking then swim out through the now open windows....

I hate this movie. I saw about half of it at a drive in when it followed another movie that I saw before. Showing 2000+ people killed on a cruise on a not so happy new year with only six survivors is just bad. Good thing I left the drive in halfway through.

If that is the case then there wouldn't had been much of a force hitting it. Also it would depend on how much they were able to get the ship to turn. Even an inch can make a huge difference. That is my theory anyways.
