This was shocking to me when i heard this. You just cant imagine carolla getting emotional & crying. You can see that Allsion and Brian are trying to pull him through it by asking questions over his silences. LOVE the Red Dawn clip being played, man that was perfect.
I listened to this as it happened also and I was tremendously moved. Adam is a tough guy but, shit, this was his friend. This is how human's react. I work in healthcare and if dementia is heartbreaking. And I only see elderly patients with the disease. I couldn't imagine how painful it would be to see someone young and vibrant, who was a friend, hit with something like that.
Ace Man is a great person. He's human like us all. A great entertainer and what it seems to me, a humble person. This podcast really made me appreciate the man he is. His advice on this topic is an eye opener. And he puts it into perspective. Love me some Grandpa Carolla. -3
