This is pretty f'n worthless if the stick click buttons are not disabled when mapped to the combat buttons. I would have paid $50 for one in a heartbeat if that was the case.

So when you use the "combat 1 and 2" buttons on the bottom of the controller, does this cancelle the original designated button? like if I reassigned say the "X" button to the bottom "combat" button will I still be able to use the "X" button at same time or is it now totaly reassigned so pushing the "X" button wonte work because its now a "combat button". Only till I assign another button or turn off the "combat buttons" will the original button(s) work again?

@07duncan17 Nope, no button is cancelled. Pressing X while the combat button is set to X will work just fine.

@kaiba1234 Oh, well this doesn't help me then. My probblem is I keep accidently while in a fire fight, I push the right thumbstick down and a freaken melee knife swings out as it should BUT I did it by Accident and I end up swinging a knife at a gun fight, next thing I'm waiting to respaw. I need to some how cancelle the right thumbstick so I can get those kills that should of been mine. I must of missed 20% of kills because of this right thumbstick \:|

@07duncan17 You can always switch to tactical button layout, that's what I did. I was getting fed up because i was doing that exact same thing.

@kaiba1234 also, i have a new xbox 360 microsoft controller. its one of the ones with the silver xbox button. im used to playing on one of the controllers with a gray xbox button. the sticks seem more sensitive then the ones on my old gray one. i play on a sensitivity of 2 and i tried raising the sensitivity but it was too high and same thing for lowering it but then it was too low. any suggestions on how to fix this? im thinking about getting kontrol freeks but idk if there are other options.

@ShadySLAYER666 I've honestly never played with that controller. The best advice I could give is to play with it more until you're used to it, or use kontrol freeks (which I've also yet to try out).

@ForgottenToilet I've never bought FPS Freeks. However, it claims on their website that the Prestige Editions of the FPS Freeks fit the Black Ops controller.

@plumagex187 I haven't had any problems with it. Just a problem in the beginning might be that you might not be used to the thumbsticks having no grip; you'll get used to it soon. In terms of malfunctions I haven't had any.

@StormBlitzM37AL Umm it's wired, you shouldn't have to charge it. Sounds to me you got yourself one defective controller.
