My Grandfather Ernest Brocklehurst Pte 37047 served with the Lancashire Fusiliers.Died Nov 1919 aged 32 yrs. He was sent home from France because he got trench foot and sadly had both feet amputated.Its a long shot I know but if anyone has come across the name of my Grandfather then do let me know.I always believe someone somewhere has something about him out their.God Bless all of them. x
My father George Albert Davies served in the LFs untill 1966 one of his earlier postings was Tinsin in China followed by Quetta in India,,,, He would be over a hundred years old now so I dont expect any of his mates will be around (on the Video response) to recognise themselves,,,, But it might be interesting for sons daughters to see how their dads granddads(maybe even mums and grandma's too) would have lived back then
