I attended a Yanni concert in Salt Lake City on April 29, 2011. There were many solos(drums, bass, harp, trumpet, trombone, cello, violin) & Yanni names each soloist after their solo. A very classy thing to do. Awesome concert. He's still got it.
I saw this concern on PBS when I was 7. I watched it alone and I'm proud to have fallen in love with his music and this whole genre without being pushed into it. I demanded to take piano lessons after that and have been involved in music ever since, and I owe it to this man and his genius.
This has long been a fave of mine but thanks to your post I now know each player's name! Thanks for all the great info; and also for promoting Bradley Joseph whose solo work I had not known of before looking at your collection on this channel!
This concert never gets old. And being this is the 2nd best-selling concert film of all time - these amazing musicians can never get enough credit in my humble opinion. Thanks so much for watching.
SWET AWAY, magnifica composición..... llega al corazón.
¡¡¡ FELICITACIONES YANNI !!!
