Well, I must say that I, hmmm... how shall I say this...detest beglium beer. I`ve been to Flanders a few Month ago, and what I drank there really scared me away. Ever drank a Jupiler? Tastes outright horrible!
Very cool! I've become a Belgian beer fan myself recently--Hoegaarden especially! If you're ever in NYC, try the B Cafe on 75th street. Belgian Beer, Frites, and Mussels. Good stuff!
I'll check it out! To return a suggestion, check out Samuel Smith's Winter Welcome (even though it's summer, OK). It can be hard to find, but it's a real gem! Have you ever tried any of the hard ciders? They never really caught on in the states, but I love 'em! K and Strongbow are probably the best ciders available in the US, to my knowledge. Least strong as in flavor or abv? Because the white is higher in abv than the red. Anyway I was in the mood for something a little hoppy :P

I've been drinking Belgian beer for about 2 years now. I'd have to say Petrus is my favorite, especially the double.
