@galathax No such hammer. No weapon in MHFU has 3542. It might be possible with Heroics (if adrenaline+2 stacked on it in MHFU), but that's still highly unlikely. What weapon it is?
@gfhgyutyuguuuhg I think the longer purple sharpness might make Imperial Gunhammer Spark or Khezu Thunder a better choice. I neglected to compare the weapons before making this video. Magnitude is still pretty good though.
Hi Molossus. Thanks for the comment. I think Adrenaline+2 would make it possible to complete the quest in less than 10 minutes since it's easier to stagger the head. You can familiarise yourself with regular hammering before moving on to Adrenaline +2. There's little harm trying. :)
Just kidding. I'm too lazy to take out items from my item box when I need them, so I often leave situational items in my inventory. It does make finding my potions in the midst of battle a little harder though. :p
I used Magnitude. The type of hammer used doesn't affect knock out rates. The Felyne Knock Out skill as mentioned in a reply I made earlier helps. Each hit with yellow sparks contributes a certain stun value for an eventual knock out, but the monster constantly recovers a little bit of the stun over time. The concept is similar to the recovery of a hunter's red health bar. Hence, you maximise knock outs by constantly attacking the head.
Felyne Knock Out helps a bit. It takes me 15-16 minutes on average to complete this quest without any whim skills. I remember that there's an even faster hammering video here on YouTube. Just use these videos to spot attacking opportunities and you'll find yourself getting much faster.
Sorry if you've already answered this, but what armor set are you wearing? O:

Is my hammer good for Ukanlos? Its a 210 fire attribute with 3542 damage. It has white sharpness...

Wouldn't it be better if you used Imperial Gunhammer Spark?

14 minutes, that's pretty fast. I wonder what time people can accomplish with AD+2. Personally I dont dare to try
