  • best song mike's ever done - should have been a hit

  • Yes same Mike Berry (also a few seasons on AYBS?---check out "the pop star")... and his Outlaws. Tributes to Buddy Holly excellent. Still active/gigs in 2009. also formerly Kenny Lord and the Statesmen. i think the Innocents were part of this too. Good stuff.

  • I think his post-RGM, Beat era ('64-'66) are equal to if not better than his Meek produced hits. Love the drum sound- THUMP! The Rapiers cover is spot on, if even more frenetic.

"Letters Of Love" & "Who Will It Be" are also longtime faves of mine.

  • is this the same Mike Berry that did the Buddy Holly stuff? I liked his version of Rave On, was hoping to find it here.

  • Snap: Cool! The lads are celebrating their 25th anniversary on 22 March in Amersham. By all means, get there.

  • i live close by and already have that booked! thanks

  • Snap: Double cool! It should be an evening to remember.

  • Boss! Thanks for posting and name dropping The Rapiers. Too cool!

  • i always go to see the rapiers when they're around. colin and the boys are fab but they dont do enough gigs on their own
