That's a good warm up. If it's a tight situation I wouldn't stand so straight. Hell I might just throw it from the squat because if you got a little steam in your mechanics the throwdown is a makable option. I'll post a video once our team gets started with winter practice .
i love my system seven gear the chest protector is sooo nice. when a ball hits you its not going any farther thand 1 foot away from you the leg guards are amazing as well.
I'm just nobody from nowhere - so actually I have no idea about baseball, but are you sure this trow is fine? You're stopping your throw quite hard - I usually swing my arm much more to the end. Dunno... I don't throw very well, but I've been throwing about 12 years without arm-problems. I once heart, that can come from stoping the movement to hard, after the throw is done.

you should do some light dum bell training cuz it can really strengthen your arm and throw harder down to first, second, or third:)
