  • It's a beautiful aircraft. Too bad none of the comments have anything to do with it

  • posso esprimere solo ammirazione

  • It is very debatable. If Hitler had been assassinated a effective leader & a competant high command would have ensured that the war in Europe lasted far longer.

Hitler was literally going insane, actual mental illness. Not comment on his political ideology.

A nameless French whore gave him Syphilis in WW1. Heinrich Himmler knew, the SS had secret reports.

  • No drag chute and no reverse thrust. You can see the pilot lifting the nose again after touchdown, probably to slow the thing down. Interesting.

  • You people are idiots.

  • @shortyfocker oh so US is the winning party in vietnam? I see...

  • Too bad they had to cover up the swastika on the vertical tail fin to comply with German law, otherwise very authentic!

  • @anthonymaw, yeah they had to try to erase that from history too.

  • but will it blend?

  • @azas1

everything you said is true, but..waffen-ss?

    they kill children.women,elder man,without remorse.

    You poor, clueless hollywood victim!

I think you are talking about the glorious Red Army, your ally.

By the way, you forgot the rapings and lootings!

  • @Bromberg39

clueless? victim? Do you know why i never met my uncle? he was murdered in 1944 from a retreating ss unit from greece, he was 12 years old and he stole a bread from a opel truck, an officer execute him with a bullet on his head.HE WAS CLUELESS HE WAS VICTIM HE WAS ONLY A CHILD HE WAS THINKING THAT SOLDIERS WILL LET HIM GO BUT NO PEOPLE LIKE YOU PULL THE TRIGGER YOU PULL THE TRIGGER EVERY DAY SINCE 1944 TILL NOW EVERY DAY .

  • @azas1 You have a sad story there... Don't forget, history is history... I have family members that were killed by the Soviets... So what? At least the SS is recognized as being a cruel part of the German Army during ww2... but the red army!? it is considered till today the savior of Europe. So at least you have a clean conscious that some of the SS payed for their actions... but The Red Army still represents the ones that did good... Bull shit! Watch The Soviet Story - 2008. Nice documentary!

  • @shortyfocker

I agree soviet army did noumerous crimes on German people,I did not support their crimes

but i also did not support nazi party crimes against both germans and europe, but we speak against soviets when British was far more brutal?

Bomber command's Butcher arthur harris alone was guilty of thousands of kills, remember bombings of hamburg, berlin, cologne, dresden, heilbronn etc.compared to them soviets was nothing.

  • @azas1 I think there is a difference between "strategic" bombing and killing people next to their graves by a bullet in the head. Those war crimes are the ones that need to be punished. Of course that the British and Americans carried out war crimes but show me a war where the winning party is a model. In Iraq americans are killing innocent people too. So wars are wrong! I feel sorry for the soldiers and civilians of all sides. In every country there are good people, their politics is a small %

  • I repspect all veterans of all countries....they served for what they believed in. I might not agree with them, but I repspect them. There were very brave soldiers, sailors, and airmen from all countries.... The 262 was a great weapon, alneit too late and too low quantity. Also hampered by Hitlers isistance that it be used as a bomber not fighter. ALWAYS listen to your officers and NCO's!

  • @vintagesurvivor yup i agree all accounts Hitler once said even a victorious army must count its victims he was aware of the cost to himself and others

  • Amazing piece of technology for its time. Too bad it was the nazi's who invented it.

  • Absolutely Beautiful aircraft, love the ME-262!

  • make more of these and replace the f16

  • Beautiful plane, gotta respect the Germans for their engineering.

  • @chris37865 Since I bought my Volkswagen I have lost my respect for German engineering.

  • we need to see this warbird in the planes of fame airshow chino california

  • From an aviation standpoint, LOVE-IT, LOVE-IT, LOVE-IT

  • Luftwaffe and Waffen SS were two totally different organisations.

  • Needs some Ride of the Valkyries

  • @Darthvader710

    Every soldier is a murder.

  • @freddurobin why do you say that you are soooooo wrong, you know the saying " if don't have anything good to say then don't say nothing,

  • @freddurobin You are absolutely wrong in that statement... You don't murder animals, you kill them. "The Big Red One" Fuckin Nazi's were animals. And YES, I know that not all of the German forces were Nazi's.

  • @Landotter1 @freddurobin You are absolutely wrong in that statement... You don't murder animals, you kill them. "The Big Red One" Fuckin Nazi's were animals. And YES, I know that not all of the German forces were Nazi's.

Hear, hear you´r nothing but a big shut!

Your "heroes" are most courageous with PW´s, in batlle they shit their pants.

An old WWII veteran told me about american bravery and was almost crying of laughter!!

  • @Bromberg39 Well, aren't you so high and mighty... You're a fucking laugh, yourself.... What's your fucking point anyway? Don't bother answering, it'll just be more bullshit, and I don't feel like putting on my boots....

  • @freddurobin , every civilian is a target.

  • @freddurobin Thanks for calling me one! I served... I done my duty to my land and you?

  • love the Me262 looks like a shark with wings in the sky

  • @Amectree The nose looks like a great white shark !!

  • @freddurobin Heres a great quote from that interview:

Robert McNamara: "LeMay said if we lost the war that we would have all been prosecuted as war criminals. And I think he's right. He... and I'd say I... were behaving as war criminals."

Robert McNamara: "LeMay recognized that what he was doing would be thought immoral if his side has lost."

Robert McNamara: "But what makes it immoral if you lose and not immoral if you win?"

  • @freddurobin Good point, no doubt if the Allies had lost the war, they would have faced War Crimes Trials. Robert Strange McNamara made this point in his interview on; 'The Fog of War'

  • @freddurobin Oh come on, of course the Allied bomber crews felt guilty if they had known they were killing women and children. However they didnt want Hitlers war and they had to fight back. Youe comment is retarded, Death Camps, Slave LAbour, purpose mass slaughter of civilians by ground forces, is NOT the same as bombing cities. The Allies would rather have not killed women and children, whereas the SS purposefully killed thousands of 'untermenschen'. Please 'get real'

  • @Xiolablu3 "if they had known"??? I think you need to get real, it's hard to not know what your doing when your bomb sight is lined up with an entire city ablaze. Also how can you try and justify what is and is not expectable killing in regards to civilians???? So, from what your saying, it's not okay to kill anyone other civilians in any other way, but it's okay to decimate an entire city and nearly an entire city of 30000+?!?!?! Ummm, am I the only one who has a problem with your logic?

  • @LeiKaEr An airforce man following orders and dropping bombs on an enemy city is NOT the same as a total slaughter of 'untermenschen' policy. If the RAF bomber pilots could have destroyed the cities WITHOUT killing women and children, they would have jumped at the chance. Nazis systematically and purposefully slaughtered Russian civilians and Jews and they had a CHOICE. COmparing the Allied bombing offensive with Slave labour, Gas chambers and Ethnic cleansing of the Russians/Poles is retarded

  • @Xiolablu3 Is that what I was doing. Comparing? Well thank you for reading my post carefully! I was not... of course what the Nazi's did was disgusting and is inexcusable. Bombing an entire city, doesn't hold a candle next to systematic killing!

  • @LeiKaEr Sorry I didnt see your 2nd post until after I made my previous.

  • @Xiolablu3 My point.... if you cared to read carefully was that, if the Nazi's had won. Our leaders would have no doubt also be punished, much in the same way as the Nazi's were at the Nuremberg trials. Whether you wish to admit it or not. Destroying a city full on innocents is also WRONG!

  • unfortuantely when the jet was built aluminum was unobtainable so they had to spray it on which only lasted eight to ten hours before it had to be torn out and redone over again, this coupled with other shortcomings unavoidable at the time contributed to a not too safe airplane, Despite these shortcomings it still made a few allied pilots mess their drawers, that s for damn sure.

  • We've got ships sewed up, planes for sure, troops, autos, the first highways, the first anti smoking campaigns, societys for animals rights, womens health clinics, yup those germans are some evil people responsible for two wars, Uh huh!

  • @freddurobin :)) the Bismark was destroyed their bombs with it's hull then transformed into a submarine :p

  • Why are they so friggin strict over not mentioning WW2 these days, when they let 1 of their finest planes from that war to fly over Berlin?

  • @freddurobin All sunk or hiding from the Royal Navy by 1943 to be sunk later. The ME 262 was the best fighter of WW2 when it worked but that was not most of the time. The average engine life was about 10 hours. That's why it had practically no effect on the bomber war that the the Nazi's started... and the Soviets produced many more bigger and better tanks.

  • If I recall Bismarck, Tirpitz and Scharnhorst ended up deep six courtesy of His britannic majesties Royal Navy. Bouncing bomb, grand slam bomb,Avro Lancaster,8th Army desert rats,Radar,Sonar, breaking the Enigma code, Royal marine comandoes, Gold, Juno and Sword beaches a few Russian peasants with a hastily thrown together T32 tank kicked those facist arses.

    'ARK ROYAL,VICTORY,RENOWN,REPULSE,PRINCE OF WALES,KING GEORGE V,ILLUSTRIOUS.

"Be pleased to inform his majesty of our final victory!"

  • @freddurobin HMS Ark Royal. HMS Victory, The Cutty Sark, The Golden Hind, The Mary Rose, The Mayflower

You're talking out of your ass pal!

  • @freddurobin HMS Ark Royal, HMS Eagle, HMS Victory, you say look at what the bismarck did to the best british ships!!! the bismarck only sunk one old out of date British battleship HMS Hood that was actualy built in WW1, then the bismarck was sunk, yeh great record that, 1 ship destroyed TOTALY SUPERIOR, and as for the Tirpitz it was destroyed in a Norwegian fjiord without sinking ANY ships, and the Graf Spee was scuttled in an argentenian harbour rather than come out to face the british fleet

  • @TheSgtsteiner

    Hello Mr Sgtsteiner

I agree with all Your statements. But in the entire history of Naval Forces, was a whole Navy´s primary target, to sink one ship...and that was the Bismarck...further on...the Tirpitz,"The Beast" as Churchill called it was hiding in norwegian Fjords, the sense behind this was typical for the Nazis...NONE...she finally was sank by a bomb especially designed for its demise..the Grand slam..later that bomb was also used to penetrate hardened U-Boat shelters

  • @freddurobin I knew a German ww2 pilot living in Canada that flew with Galland Both of them Knew the end was coming when they seen Spitfires flying with Mustangs in one day ..Galland had told genrals "Stop polishing rivets and start making planes" They gave him and Franz Stigler and 2 others Me-262 a week later The first pilot crashed on take off killing him

  • @freddurobin Bismarck,Tirpitz,Graf spee,Tiger, ME-109 190 262, V1 V2 etc etc was the downfall of Germany

Well built Machines Take time to build ..Ever changing plans take time to design Ford motor plant were kicking out 5 Sherman tanks for every 1 Panther or 7 Shermans to 1 Tiger. Bismark failed to have Air cover, 1 ME-109 had 3 spitfires 5 Hurricanes being made from England, Canada, 2 mustangs 3 thundebolts USA

    Cont, above

  • Hammer. Dass es noch welche von den alten Maschinen gibt, die auch noch flugfähig sind, einfach toll.

  • Beautiful Aircraft, awesome well handled Landing, great pilot.

  • @freddurobin It is now well known that the artillery fire from the Prinz Eugen actually struck the fatal blow on HMS Hood.

  • @freddurobin Yes, but who started to bombard London and it was not only ww2, they where the first city bombers, Zeppelin Staaken bombertypes in ww1 and in ww2 they also bombt Rotterdam.. Justice for al nazis. The only good 1 is A death 1

  • A few torpedos at the Bismarck and it was marcked for ever, it sunk because it was unmanoevreble, Look at the Prins Eugene XD whahahaha it was blowen 2 bits with an A-Bom. Look at NASA its more intresting then al those beginphase crap at all. Look at the german scientists. No nazi krauts and there was no NASA what was so hightech

  • @reddiethecat Think you perhaps need to do a bit more reading. If the Germans had massed produced the ME-262 before 1944 even with it's problems. Then the war would probably have lasted for years more as seems unlikely the Allies would have risked D-Day without air superiority and the 8th Air Force would be obsolete. They had nothing to match the ME-262 till very late in the war. Although ultimately imagine the Allies would still have won as Russia could afford to lose a lot more soldiers.

  • @hkpho0ey But, they didnt mass produce it, and this is yet another example of Hitlers inept decision making. He may have been a great politico, but a general he was not.

  • @lordofpokemon1212 Was just thinking hypothetically about if they had mass produced it.. Ironically much of the delay to the ME262 was caused by Hitler wanting it converted to ground attack role rather than being a fighter. You are right about Hitler and think he could be considered a classic example of the 'peter principle. Someone promoted way beyond his ability. Thankfully for the allies he wasn't alone in the German high command.

  • @hkpho0ey okay there is ALOT of text and i dont wanna read it, my dad was on my account so dont blame me

  • @reddiethecat

i think, that ur a stupid amercian idiot without any reality. If the ME-262 was earlier (1941/1942) built/constructed en Mass, than no britain or "schrottflugzeuge" from the us can handle with this Masterwork of Tech. Germany had at WWII the most powerful and inovative Weapons of all. And why? Because we had the greatest inventors, constructer etc.. And after WWII amercians and russians get asap their Hands on them because of there techknowlege.

Go and dream ur dream u Honk

  • @Kaaleb68 You are certainly correct about the ME-262 as it would have almost certainly rapidly stopped the American daylight bombing if mass produced even in 1943. The ME-262 was overall a good design, although it suffered from the poor unreliable engines. Germany was way ahead of the allies technically, however that also turned out to be an Achilles heel as so much precious resources were wasted on a million and 1 ultimately pointless projects and in general over engineering everything.

  • @freddurobin Bullshiite, most people don't even know these planes existed. I've been watching Battle of Britain clips with the magnificent Spitfire all day. I give this crap maybe 10 minutes. Ask most people to name their favorite WWII planes and 90% will name the Spitfire or P51D. Most people, if asked about the Kriegsmarine, will start talking about U-Boats, not their joke of a surface force. Go back to practicing your goose stepping in front of the mirror, pathetic neo-nazi.

  • @specom 'Most people' only know about the Spitfire because of propaganda mate and the film 'The battle of Britain'. The yanks and us had to carpet bomb the Krauts 24hrs a day otherwise we would have been fucked! They just couldn't make enough of these planes and didn't have tungsten for the turbine blades. Basically, we had to stop them making them coz we had fuck all that could match them. Read on the Horten 229 too

  • @specom

    Rock on, Hollywood-BOY. ;)

    lol

  • @freddurobin

A famous British ship? HMS Victory: Britain has been ruling the waves since before Germany existed.

Your idea that German weapons were superior is a bit rubbish, really. If you equate interest with superiority, then try this: The Hurricane and Spitfire are interesting because they won the battle of Britain. The T-34 is equally "interesting" because of its dominance at Kursk. von Kleist, von Rundstedt et all considered it to be the best tank in the world.

    They were correct.

  • @cskamoskva

Britain's invented soccer, but they still don´t rule it.It was the same thing with "ruling the waves". LOL

Hurricans and Spitfires were crap, compared with the newest versions of FW190 and ME190, not even mentioned the ME262 or other "Wunderwaffen".

What dominance of the T34 at Kursk do yo see?

In Operation "Zitadelle" the russians lost almost 2000 tanks, the german lost 400 tanks.

    WHAT DOMINANCE? LOL

    And a

  • @freddurobin Your right about the the T-34 as it was far inferior. However the difference by 1943 Russia could afford to lose 2,000 tanks at Kursk. A loss of 400 tanks was far more serious for Germans. The Hurricane was never designed as a true air to air fighter as it was always too slow. However you seem to forget the Spitfire IX were a match for the FW190 and the Hawker Tempest achieved a 7:1 kill ratio against German fighters and destroyed plenty of ME-262's.

  • @freddurobin thing is we HAVE ruled the waves , and our Empire ruled 3/4 of the planet , OUR language is and HASt o be used by pilots around ALL the world , and we have invented god knows what , not too bad for a little Country .....

  • the spanish empire was the FIRST global empire ruling 3/4 of the world for 300 years, discovering the americas crossing all oceans, building the first global economy based on high developed trade, beating, arabs, frenchs, turks, brits, you pirates are a bad copy a little islanders full of greed for gold&lands, the spanish emp, was the first and original,on which the sun never set, brit was a paper empire build on piracy&colonial scavenge,Español,Our mother language is the second most spoken in the world.

  • @gueropalma1990 And your getting bailed out of a financial crisis by the pirates , second rate country and a second rate language .........pmsl .................

  • The difference is that the Spanish Empire existed about 350 years, and was ruled by the most powerful dynasty in the history of Habsburg who also ruled the Holy Roman Empire,Italy, belgium,Netherlands, Hungary and much of the Balkans, the pirate empire only survive less than 100 years, and well germany, rip all british armies, you need the help of the dirty yankees to beat germany,Spanish empire fell beacuse the envy of brits and frenchs who help the traitors on hispanic americas and europe.

  • @freddurobin

Remember London (60 595) (equivalent to Hamburg & Dresden combined!)

The war happened, and although the fight against the nazis was necessary the civilian casualities on both sides is a sad part of that war. Lets hope we as a species have learned (although the actions by today by those who never really took a large role in WWII make wonder).

  • Without a doubt this is the most beautiful airplane of WW2

  • take the wings away and you have a perfect body for a great white shark

  • @reddiethecat

The short answer is a better pilot can win in any engagement. Luftwaffe pilots later in the war had poor training and increasingly less reliable equipment. The 262 was a technical quantum leap with a speed advantage, but was unreliable and not fully ready IMO. The Germans were very ahead with innovative ideas. P-51s and P-47s survive today from post-war use and foreign service. Most Luftwaffe equipment was turned into pots and pans for a post-war starving Europe starting over.

  • @FiveCentsPlease The ME 262 had to take it very easy taking off and landing and so were vulnerable to attack in those scenarios. Due to the lack of heat resistant tungsten for the turbine blades. They had to make them from mild steel tht warped and hence an engine rebuild. Credit has to go to the Krauts innovations which were generations ahead. They also had SAM and Air to air missiles too. This is why the Korean war was fought with such tech so soon after WWII as so much Kraut tech

  • @bloobear1

Actually the turbine blades were made of Cromadur alloy. The burner cans and other

"hot parts" were made of mild steel.

  • @EvilxMerlin 'Actually', the point I was trying to make was that the parts were made of inferior material and not the ideal choice. Tungsten was this ideal choice but instead as you pointed out they were made of inferior alloy. Most of the special metals needed came from Turkey

  • @freddurobin Titanic! :D

  • @freddurobin

Maybe if Germany, Hitler and Nazis/fascists avoided that aggression war all those kill didn't happen...

  • @freddurobin Get off the ancient history - just appreciate that these magnificent birds are flying again

  • The Germans had some amazing kit, altho their army issue rifle was inferior to the American M1. A bit more relevant than exotic jets and heavy tanks that couldn't be manufactured in enough numbers.

  • Le falta la svastica.

  • @freddurobin There wasnt anything superior to the Spitfire when it came out, you're comparing different time frames.

As for naval advantage... why was that? German ships were superior because they were built in violation of the Washington Naval treaty. Also Britain had numbers on their side, which is telling of the fate of most of the ships you mentioned. As for the others, built on the back of slave labour...if you think that's something to be proud of then good luck to you!

  • @comanchio1976

You did not get the point. It´s the fascination of german weapons that led you to this clip. Spitfire? Boring. I don´t click Spitfire-Clips on Youtube, but you click Me262-Clips. That makes the difference.

  • @freddurobin I didnt miss the point at all, I was making the relevant point that Britain could have built far superior ships had they not stuck to the rules. Also made the point that the me262 was built right at the end, and that another plane was king of the skies long before that.

No wonder you dont click Spitfire vids, they gave the Luftwaffe such a kicking that it still pisses you off to this day...it's understandable.

  • Berlin?

I hope they buzzed the Russian Embassy.

  • It is really wonderful to see something fly.

    Greetings from Germany

  • @freddurobin am half german and half british but in technolgy i prefer german the Brits hade horrible tanks but good planes and a Navy that sunk all those names you said but the luftwaffe hade Incredible tech

  • @jasincl

There is a difference between quality and quantity. ;)

  • that is an awsome plane right there

  • How much do these replicas cost? I would love to have one. A Tiger and Torpedo speed boat as well. I wonder whatb the demand is for these items?

  • @freddurobin

Tirpitz was sunk in Norway having did nothing during the war. Graf Spee's captain scuttled her after being trapped in port. Not exactly great combat records. Bismarck at least went down fighting.

While the Me-262 was a superior design it had its drawbacks which made it vulnerable in combat. If I had my choice of a Thunderbolt or a Me-262 to fly in combat. I'd take the Thunderbolt, they cold take alot more damage and had alot better range.

  • @freddurobin I think if the Gloster meteor and the ME 262 had met the 262 would have lost

  • @RogueBrit

    I don´t think so. ;)

The Gloster had heavy stability-problems at velocities higher than Mach 0,74.

  • @freddurobin it didnt matter though, they still lost & the german people followed a complete and utter moron (hitler) into destruction.

  • @cott10r

It does matter, cause we are talking about technology, not ideology.

  • @Kissarmyhq... The Bismark wasn't sunk by any airplane, much less a WW1-era biplane.. It was scuttled (with a relatively intact hull)... And the Fairey Swordfish wasn't a WW1-era biplane, it first flew in 1934, 16 years after WW1 ended in 1918.

It also stayed in service with the Fleet Air Arm until shortly before WW2 ended, the only combat biplane to do so...

  • @freddurobin Yes they were brilliant. Unfortunately, they were up against everyone.

U.S.A. Russia and Britain and the Commonwealth. Impossible odds.

  • @freddurobin Yeah superior weapons , nazis were just too pussy to be able to use them.

  • @freddurobin You're seriously defending Nazi Germany? Seriously, bro? yeah their weapons were way more badass, but Hitler practically took over all of Europe. The citizens had a choice in electing Hitler and a choice in supporting him. I'm not saying everyone deserved to die, but we ended a war that needed to end ASAP.

  • @crowdcontrol792

I´m not your "bro" and i did not defend Nazis but their technology. However, the winner writes the history.

  • Oh, yea. Enterprise, Hornet, Arizona etc etc. Ring a bell Bismark guy ? :D

  • @freddurobin to have "superior" weapons but loose two world wars in half a century ! What's that tell ya ? Doesn't really add up to a hill of beans because "WE" developed the most superior weapon of the war, trumping ALL others. Reducing Hitlers wonder weapons to junk status..... BISMARK sunk by ww 1 era brit. biplanes by the way ....

  • @KISSARMYHQ It was Russia that overwhelmed Germany by it's sheer size.

  • @freddurobin You are dead right. Superior...and also more exotic. The P-51 Mustang was a superb aircraft, but compared to an Me 262 or a Do 335, it's almost primitive. Mind you, there ARE some famous British warshps of WW2...HMS Hood, Repulse, Prince Of Wales.

  • @ProjectFlashlight612 you beat me to the list of some famous brit warships. ME262 exotic yes, reliable no ! You can have you tiger, also unreliable (TOO complicated) but the Americans could turn them out faster then the Germans could destroy them. Had the war continued the allies had some super tanks of thier own on the drawing board. The Brits had a jet as well that flew during the war as you most likely know. Problem with the Nazis is instead of building one good jet they had too many.

  • @KISSARMYHQ Nah mate, the problem was mostly fuel. German factories were producing hundreds of planes of all types every month in 1944, but there was next to no avgas available....add the fact that Germany had very few experienced pilots left by that time, and you have problems. The Brits had a jet, the Gloster Meteor, but it was only ever used to shoot down V-1s. The American's jet, the Bell Airacomet, was an underpowered pile of junk that never flew in anger.

  • @ProjectFlashlight612 Oh yes, the materials the Germans were forced to use in the manufacturing of the jets engines was substandard. It was pretty but as I said unreliable. They had to constantly be rebuilding them. Not efficient ! I didn't say the brit jet saw combat, I said it "flew". The "jerries" also lacked a heavy bomber or air superiority. The allied planes would loiter around the airfields and pick the jets off on take off or landing. The thunderbolt for example terrified axis forces

  • @ProjectFlashlight612 Yes and the best American pilot of WW2 Richard Bong was killed trying to test-fly one of those new P-80 jets in 1945.

  • @freddurobin I prefer and fully equipped division of Sherman rather that an Abteilung of Tiger, because you don't win a modern war with superior or miracle weapons but being rational. Nazi Germany was not "rational", as every dictatorship are.

  • @deckarudo Oh yes they are my friend, 10 Fully equipped Panthers vs 20 Shermans, the Panthers would win ;)

  • @0Forgive Com'on! You need only 4 Panther to beat those little tiny Sherman ;-)

  • @deckarudo Mwoa, 6 will do I think :)

  • @0Forgive OK, you've got them :)

  • Awsome show, to bad its just not a 262...

Body of the plane is to slim verticaly..., besides the engines arent possibly original.

A shoddy reproduction, and nothing more.

  • @popceed

Not shoddy at all. This Me262 is one of five reproductions and the team that constructed them began by restoring an original for the US Navy, which allowed them to copy the aircraft part-for-part. Improvements were made to the landing gear and stronger brakes for safe operation. The engines are modern replacements, again for safe flight since the original Jumo engines are too unreliable for operation. Again, not shoddy.

  • Flying over Berlin explains the absence of the Swastikas on the tail. Illegal to display the Swastika in public in Germany-under punishment of up to 20 years in prison!!

  • Comment removed

  • that thing looks like a flying shark!

  • It was a fine aircraft, years ahead of its time. Unfortunately, Germany did not have the available resources to produce them in sufficient quantity, nor enough seasoned pilots to fly them, to turn the tide. On top of that was the decision that Galland fought: to utilize these fine fighters as tactical bombers.

  • Comment removed

  • @freddurobin

cuz the germans were raping everybody at that time

  • @crackshack2

yeah and i had raped your mom

  • @freddurobin

Britain had the best ships at the time not the best leaders to command them :)

  • @freddurobin Then again, look at the ancient Fairey Swordfish Biplanes, and what they did to the mighty Bismarck.

  • Smooth landing

  • WOnderful machine. But It needs a swastika on its tail to complete the true look of the ME-262.

  • "DUDE! Deja vu!"-Me 262

  • @Brianboro67 Royal Navy-Sept 1939-332 capital ships. Commissioned by Aug 1945-553 capital ships. 332+553=885 minus total losses of 278 equals 607 capital ships at the end of the war. I guess it you included all the minesweepers, frigates, corvettes, torpedo boats, service vessels and landing craft you might come up with a number like "4700" ships of the "Mighty Royal Navy".

  • I wonder if it is difficult or not to fly on this :)

  • @freddurobin yeah, right dude? germany went to war in the 20th century with 80% of the wehrmacht depending on horse drawn wagons instead of motorized transport. Gosh those allies US and UK had only motorized transport like trucks.

  • @fluffy1931 stfu germany was the best and still is

if you want we can easily fuck great britain today

  • @dopenhagen2009 hey assfag. germany lost WW2 and the US still has troops stationed in germany 2010' since 1945' get over it and bend over.

  • @dopenhagen2009 no you cant :/ am half german and half british so what the hell Germany has the leopard II (best tank in the world so far) but the British army is still stronger also Germany isnt allowed to Invade countrys only to send troops to help one or sumthing

  • To me, in the so called "ww2" the Red army had way better tanks, tank destroyer, airplanes, and especially the will to win!

  • if the German has had the best of everything??? How can they lost the war? They can not even win when they tried ...and they tried very hard to bomb England into submittion? and even bigger mistake when they invaded Russia and realized that they just need ...way better tanks to counter the legendary T-34? and the deadly air combat of the Eastern front went almost unnoticed by the West? After all, the Red army were the one who took Berlin! indeed!

  • where is the nazi swastica??? This plane is painted false, no nazi swastica....

  • @astrolopitequs23 why would they put it on the plane??Theyre trying to show past planes, not promote past ideas. Its illigal in germany too

  • @astrolopitequs23 This is the national identification cross from the Wehrmacht,

  • @astrolopitequs23

Because its flying in Germany, the German Government turned a blind eye to what happened in the 30's and 40's and wish to ignore the fact that it happened. One of those is the prohibition of having the Harkenkrutz displayed on anything.

  • Fuck the Amys and the Britans

  • @camper0349 :)

  • such great engineering.. such achievements for such a regieme and holocaust..

  • All Hitler had say, to the Russian people's is, were here to liberate you, and the out come of that war would have been different.

  • what a shame, they made them remove the swastika from the tail.

  • Beautiful aircraft and the best, just like some Germans girls I know ja. ~_^ Ja wohl Germany leads the way la la la. Hmmm Germany had the first jet fighter in service in the world almost 10 years before the Sabre jet in Korea.

  • If the NAZIS made this then, imagine what their making today,in an underground factory in Antartica!

  • i would give anything for that plane!

  • With a few tausend of these we could have ruled the world.

    Mein Führer, I can walk!

  • @Me262Pepper

Gee, we just had needed one of the doomsday machines!

  • @Me262Pepper Ya you could of won the war to if you hadn't had a loser = Hitler as a leader hahha you fools trusted a fool

  • @DaManzMoney

    Ja, ja, we lost.

We are left with a country whos trade surplus is second only to China, clean streets, low crime, universal heath care und an average of six weeks vacation.

How's that mortor city going? Enough crack & rap for you?

    Ja, ja, we lost.

  • @Me262Pepper

Indeed, Germany had the bar none BEST aviation technology right up till the end of the 1940's. Say what you want about the NAZI's but the German industry and engineering of the 30s and 40's was FAR ahead of the Allies. Remember folks the 262 first flew in 1942! Before the P-51 was mated to the Merlin Engine.

  • @EvilxMerlin unfortunately germany didn't have the submarine spitfire, a aircraft that scared the living daylights out of the luftwaffe

  • @mrtallis

Actually the Spitfire really didn't. The Spitfire was no better than the Bf 109 at the time, the Fw 190 scared the hell outta the Brits that kept stuffing larger and larger Merlin's into the Spitfire so that it could compete with the Fw 190. The Brits were almost always behind the tech curve against the Germans.

  • @EvilxMerlin

the spit was quite a bit better than the me109, especailly the ealier me109's. the fw 190 was probably equal to the spit

  • @ad356

Um, no, the Bf 109 had a MUCH better fuel system, much better engine management controls, was lighter than the Spitfire and about the same HP, had equivalent armament and could do mauvers at both high and low speed the Spitfire could not.
