All of a sudden everyone's a tsunami expert so they comment on this video with their ignorant ideas of what a tsunami really is. Tsunami does not mean big wave, it means a massive displacement of water via the energy from an earthquake or landslide or other disturbance that occurs in a body of water. Whether or not its a big wave depends on many factors, such as the vertical displacement height of the tectonic plate during an earthquake. A tsunami is not a big wave, its more like a flood.

the diference between a normal wave and a tsunami is not the height, its the deepth the water molecules are moving, a normal wave only moves molecules near the surface while tsunami waves are moving molecules in depths down to hundereds of meters

@Henryh93 tsunami doesnt mean big waves. Tsunami waves do not resemble normal sea waves, because their wavelength is far longer. Rather than appearing as a breaking wave, a tsunami may instead initially resemble a rapidly rising tide, and for this reason they are often referred to as tidal waves.

@dudeanddude100 Well im not sure what you mean by "push like hydro pumps air" but i can explain how id imagine they got this to work...Assuming this was created the same way a real tsunami is...they would have a shifting plate underwater at floor level...The plate would shift (most likely vertically a bit) causing an unbalance in the water forcing some of it away from the spot that shifted...Gravity takes care of the rest keeping the wave intact from one side to the other...
