I consider myself a complete fan and follower, but I'd like to know how you came about your vocals. I have a hard time creating a vocal line for my songs. Where should I start?
to be honest i think itd just be better to get a more choir type voice for this, and prolly a female voice. i just think thatd wrk better, instead of trying to computerize your own voice. then youd get a more natural voice to fit with the style of your music, organic orchestral music.
As always it gives me goosebumps on the first listen, but that's more the musical sound of it. The vocals still need work. I personally think you're too fast. Like you never hold a break. 2 bar with vocals and 2 beats with responding music is a good thumb-rule (that shouldn't be strictly followed obviously) to intros and verses. If you have constant vocals you just clog up and lose people's attention over time. Don't be afraid of not getting to say enough. If you're patient, people listen.
gonna re record the vocals I think, gonna try it with some fresh recordings cause I think the original ones were a bit too flat/emotionless.
also, going to try fixing timing issues and pronuciation as well. was experimenting with newtone a bit more earlier and I think I can get this but it'll need a lot more work and maybe some practice/prep work.
44-> is pretty good for a build. The chorus could be epic! (literally)
30-44. I can't fell this. It's like you are not sure wether you are going to rap or sing. This might be very hard to get better at, because it is not specific enough..
think the problem is that your production level is much higher that your singing skills. the corrected vocals have lost the feeling of beeing "real / organic" to me and thats whats the point of vocals (besides from giving a massage). just my opinion. id recommend you to go on without the vocals till you find some good singer. hope you dont get it wrong, cheers
