  • Watch out for Hmong America elderly nasty attitudes, they sometime like to glop anyone that is powerless at the back stage.

  • @nongvangful

Since you said Ayouduo is not Hmong, are you going to say that Song Zuying is not Hmong too???

  • @arthuralan

I wouldn't doubt that! But they've become sinicized and have forgotten their cultural roots and identity. The rest are probably Yue.

  • Oh yeah... and folks, I should also point out... 0:11 the narrator says the local government/peoples have established an event to celebrate "peb hmoob lub Hauv Toj". In other words, he didn't say they were celebrating a New Year. Us in the West have someone confused the Tsa Hauv Toj celebration with "New Year" and we jingle in our best Hmong garb at the fairgrounds every year without even knowing what it really is. Hmoob Suav still celebrate the Hauv Toj. We need to take that as a lesson...

  • I just want to find out why she ware that dress so so low I like her songs but that dress got to go.

  • The guy who was narrated this video I believe he is not from China, the real Hmong Chinese can't speak Hmong this clear ....though.

  • @maijib2009

That depends. Hmong from Southern China bordering Vietnam/Laos/Thailand can and indeed do speak very similar dialects that we can understand with little difficulty. The separation between Western Hmong and Chinese Hmong is only 50-200 years, so it's not significant enough to cause any major language barriers. There are also other related dialects that can be easily understood, but I have can't quite tell which dialect the narrator has.

  • @hmonguru

Hmoob "Ntsuab" or Hmoob Leeg, to be politically correct was the root of our language, most of the Hmong chiinese have this tongue..White Hmoob dialect and clothing had to be created out of necessity to escapted persecuation. If you ask your elders, they will tell you that some far distance in the past their great great gandparants were Hmoob ntsuab. We are all Hmoob, no matter what dialect,,thats what counts.

  • @thonglredjunglefowl

I agree. Hmong Ntsuab is very similar to Mandarin. Hmong Dawb is a little bit off, but you can easily tell which is the original by visiting the Miao villages and listening. We have three different groups: Western, Central, and Eastern. The Eastern Miao were captured and stockaged centuries ago, so their language is the most different from ours. Central was also stockaged and their language changed. We, Hmoob, are the "raw" Miao that refused to give up, so we left China.

  • WOOAH.... HMONG CHINESE IS SLIM AND SEXY UNLIKE THE HMONG AMERICAN GIRLS WHO ARE FAT SHORT AND CHUBBY FROM EATTING ALL THE HAMBURGER AND FRENCH FRIES HERE

  • =) zoo saib heev li.

  • hey i understood hmong chinese a little...wow!

  • @TheMiaoKingdom ic ic...tnx for clarifying ^^

  • wat does (lua e) mean??

  • She's amazing live! I LOVE her songs!

  • omg loving the chinese opera style singing. voted, would smash!

  • GOSH! that narrator's green dialect is so thick!

  • your funny lmaoo

  • what and where was this event ?

  • Mee Haam is so hot. She is older now but still maintain her youth very well, also a very great singer performer too.

  • This video is the best. Mee Hang and Song Zuying. It shows that we're Hmong no matter where we are from. Song Zuying is Hunan Miao, while Mim Haam is Yunnan Miao. It's great to see them on the same stage. I wish Mim Haam comes to the states again. She's the greatest Hmong singer of all time and still is.

  • @niamtxiv what do you mean where is mim haam? i thought she married hmong america and live in the usa already. hmm. i guess im wrong. i like her songs and especially her vocal.

  • beautiful songs

  • I haven't heard any hmong chinese speak "White" hmong, i hear only Green

  • There are white Hmong in China. Majority of White Hmong left China long ago. This is why southeast Asia tend to have more white Hmong than anywhere else. There are hundred of subdialects that share both White and Green Hmong words. In China, Green Hmong are known as Flower Hua Miao and they are different from Qing Miao, who are known as Green Miao.

  • @amyjoke

A person who speaks Green Hmong would have a easier time understanding Hmong Chinese than does White Hmong.

  • i can't read hmong or speak hmong when i'm hmong and i'm serious!

  • It's time to learn your ancestors' tongue.

  • @niamtxiv right i guess they all have to speak green hmong..

  • Wow! Mee Hang has one of the most beautiful voices ever!!! Very strong & powerful!!! I wish we Hmong American women are slim like the Hmong Chinese. I see Hmong American influence on her outfit. Ms. Hang's visits to the states may have concluded her final outfit selection on this performance.

Nwg naav Moob Xeevteb Lostsuas dlaim tab Moob Leeg. Kuv zoo sab heev tas Nwg naav dlaim tab Moob Leeg nuav.

  • Mim Haam will always be the greatest Hmong singer in history. Is she still alive? I haven't heard from her for a very long time. Mim Haam is a true Hmong goddess. Mim Haam is a beloved aunt to me. She have inspired many Hmong including me. It was because of Mim Haam that I was determined to understand my root and learn my history.

  • เพลงเพราะดีครับ

    ชอบทั้งสองเพลงเลยครับ

It was very nice song, I love both artist.

Hen hao ting de ge, Xie xie

  • Mim Haam is one of the best Miao singers in China. I wish to see her again in the states.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • Is Song Zu Ying really Hmong Suav??? I am curious. How come Ayouduo and Song Zu Ying don't sing some songs in Hmong???????

  • Song Zu Ying speak a different dialect, which is very different from Mee Hang. Ayouduo is new. Ayouduo also speak a dialect that is very different from Song Zu Ying and Mee Hang. ^^

  • They are from different provinces in China and different tribes of Miao/Hmong. Min Haam is from Yunnan where most Latian Hmong came from. Ayouduo is from Guizhou, a prvince to the north east of Yunnan. Son Zuying is from Hunan, a province in central China.

  • i love mee hangs part because she is speaking in hmong not in chinese^^

  • I want Mee Hang to come back to the states. I would love to see her sing. Omg, she is the greatest singer of all time. All this time, her songs are still some of the best songs ever.

  • I wish Mee Hang would of sung some of her other more dramatic song with operas in the background but still great great!!

  • Thanks for sharing this video. Waouh, its fantastic : Mim Haam and Song Zuying in live performance, what a great moment. It's sure Mim Haam is hmong and people can say that Song Zuying is not hmong but for our chinese hmong brother she's hmong so she's hmong. That what the commentator said about Song Zuying : "tuaj ib tug leej puj hmoob, npe hu ua li Xoom Zum Yees ..."

  • I agree with you. It's amazing. ^^

  • Nice!

  • I like this video. Would it be that Song Zuying knows Mee Hang? Because one of Song Zuying's videos have the Hmong Yunnan Performers. I think this is the best video ever.

  • Great video. Love it. love it. hehehe

  • This is beautiful seeing Mee Hang and Song Zuying singing on the same stage. It would be really nice if they collaborated the songs, if possible.

  • very nice, thanks for sharing

  • they're both awesome... thanks for sharing...
