My best advice is to take it slow. I practice everything sooo slowly but I only get discouraged if I try to rush and get nowhere.

could you please tell me how you played your left hand? did you follow the ones in the sheet or did you customize it?

I tried to follow the sheets as far as the notes are concerned, but the timing was way too tricky for me.

The intro is fairly acurate the way I played it, but I had to customize a bit throughout.

The only way I could get even remotely close was by following the midi that Sodara provided. I slowed it down to a snail's pace to hear it more clearly and that helped a lot.

You know, I've actually tinkered a bit with "Longing", but never really got it down. He plays most everything on his sheets, it just repeats a bit more.

Well, Calintzlee made a comment below and I'm ashamed to say I'm not clear on where they're asking. =/

I was more than slightly nervous because I did tweak quite a few things on the sheets and I chose a tempo much slower than Sodara's. I'm not a virtuoso after all. =D

I've been practicing this one off and on for a while. I can read it well enough, but I just couldn't get that bass rhythm down. I ended up having to alter it a bit to something that I could actually play.
