Going Down Talland Hill , Polperro, Cornwall Part One

We used to park at the top of Talland Hill (to save the car parking charges) and walk down to go to the Blue Peter Pub. The walk home as you've all said, is/was a killer! Kids skate-board down it!!

I will be visiting Polperro soon and won't be walking up Talland Hill for any reason! l will be going the Crumplehorn way,you have to pay for the car park but the hill down and up again is way less steep. This one is heart attack stuff!

I remember staying at the Coastguards cottage at the top of this hill some years ago. That hill very nearly killed me! I swear that at some points you could touch the road in front of you on the way back up. Worth it for the view though.

Thank you! This is a killer hill, and yes I'm sure you could walk up it on all fours (returning from the pub I should think most people do!) Hubby remembers driving up this hill (when you could drive up) in a three wheeled Reliant Robin...and everything slid out out the back! Hopefully, I'll get better at taking video's!
