  • the second half makes me wanna cry :')

  • Hans Zimmer is the best! Ta muzyka jest fantastyczna, do każdego filmu tworzy niesamowitą muzykę!

  • Seeing how the hyenas ate Scar, I can only imagine what Scar did to Mufasa's corpse, though the very thought of it makes me feel like vomiting.

  • @Sparfregundo Dude its a kids movie

  • @Sparfregundo They all died in the fire

  • @Dattebayo04 I thought they ran away. cuz in the 2nd movie Nuka(Kovu's brother) said scar's hid out was creepy since th hyenas ran off.

  • I wish they'd made this our high school graduation song! :D

  • @Numanom I prefer "Yushi no Gaizen" to be the graduation song.

  • I got goosebumps and tears in my eyes at one part...this is brilliant.

  • i love how its basically the kings of the past with a slowed tempo for the beginning, beautiful how he tied it in it gives a sense of revenge when he fights scar

  • Still love Sheckler. ^^

  • =)

  • the most Epic battle theme in Disney history

  • all i can say is .. bye bye scar and congrats simba

  • The fight between Scar and Simba is epic! But then there is also him taking his place at the top of Pride Rock, and with more encouragement, he roars to show he is now the king. And then of course, there is the reprise of Circle of Life with Simba and Nala's own cub!

Thanks so much for posting the complete uncut score to this amazing movie!

  • awh yeah 3:40

  • Thumbs up if you think Hans Zimmer should have done the Harry Potter films

  • 0:11 EPICNESS

  • 2:53 Remember...

  • Who else imagined Simba's roar at 3:02

  • Chills, man. I has them.

  • I always get chills when I hear the music where Simba is climbing the rock <3

I love the music, I love that scene. TLK will always be my favourite Disney movie <3

  • 0:12 - 0:35 The most epic fight scene in the history of film.

  • Long Live Simba! The true King of Pride Rock!

  • 0:10 - 0:37 omg i searched for this part so long!!!!!! :')

where did you get the score? i want to buy it but i just can't find it anywhere here in austria.. :(

  • @HarrysFrau I can show you how to download it, if you'd like.

  • I always cry at the end, when Simba walks up Pride Rock and I think it's mostly because of the amazing music. <3

  • 0:11 till 0:40 Best Part

when scarr and Simba fight eachother

  • 2:33 gives me the chills.

  • At each time the scene where Simba and Scar are putting up a fight, I have chills! I'm always like " Go on, Simba!! Bite Scar's head!!!" LOL!!

  • This scene was always 'nice' to me as a 4 year old, but when I saw it as a 21 year old in 3D, I was bawling. This is one of the few films that is even more amazing in 3D.

  • It's music like this that can change people's lives!

  • I heard this in the 3d premiere, when simba roared, everyone in the theater applauded like crazy

  • @roboguy75 i bet they did cuz i never got the chance 2 see it in 3D & i would hav cried & clapped like crazy too :D

  • I bet 10,000 of these 202,093 views are mine.

  • Roar, Simba, ROOOOOOAAAAAARRRRRRR :D

  • music.. the only thing that can make me cry

  • I can just hear Mufasa: "Remember, who you are..."

    Can you ?

  • @Nanthecowdog Definitely. +1

  • i want to be a lion:( so i can kill those 8 people

  • What's truly amazing about this soundtrack is no matter how many times I listen...I always get goosebumps. It's just magical beyond words.

  • This was always my favorite part of the movie. Not because Simba claimed his place as king, but the power of Zimmer's music, especially when Simba is climbing the rock.

My hat is off to you, Hans.

  • @TheProjectDream1 Agree, is really powerful and full of feeling!!

  • hans zimmer is a winner

  • 0:02 to 0:35 best part in movie!

  • @MrAlto02 Amen to that. I get goosebumps just hearing the beginning of that part!

  • THIS GIVES ME GOOSEBUMPS!!!

  • Words cannot describe how Hans Zimmer's music completed my childhood....

  • the first 41 seconds is good slow motion running music

  • what was the name of the soundtrack album which you took this from? I am desperate to get the complete score.

  • Hans zimmer is the best komposer!!!!!

  • great, this is the zimmer's best work!!!

  • Wow i love this song from the Lion King! I've been looking for this for a long long time. Thanks for uploading 5*****

  • I love the big BANG! at the end of the movie

  • I want 3:01- to play at my wedding.

  • I'd love to spend a day in Hans Zimmer's brain whilst he composed....

  • What is the first song?this is my favourite but i cant download .:(

  • No one else can compare themselves to Scar (well, maybe Clayton, Scroop, and Dr. Facilier)!!!

  • @tristandelpungo and Frollo?

  • @roboguy75 Oh, yeah, almost forgot about him!

  • I think the 8 people who dislike this song should meet the same ending as Scar.

  • I love it at the end of the song when it goes into a different version of Busa

  • goosebumps from 2:32-3:02 it really touches you wow!!

  • I cry at the end of this movie not because of this scene but because the movie ends.So much awesomeness can never end.

  • One of greatest Film Scores ever made in the history of film scores! If it wasn't for Hans Zimmer I don't think Lion King would have had the success it had.

  • Hans Zimmer is quite simply a god amongst men.

  • this song should only begin at 1:28 :P

  • bellatrix should go the way scar did even though i like her character oh well its in the book

  • speechless at 0:05-0:35

  • 4:08 is da best version eva!!

  • 2:32

  • For the lols, me and my friend will climb up some stairs, and we'll hum this song XD

But seriously, fucking brilliant Hans, I love you're work

  • 00:1-00:47

  • @DJJ7299 agreed.

  • Hans zimmer is a GOD!!!!

  • 3:05 to 4:06 is Disney at it's ultimate.

  • Comment removed

  • Seriously, who did NOT get chills at 2:30? That part right there is EPIC! It sends chills right down your spine in a good way. (=

  • 8 people did not become king and didnt kill Scar

  • 2:33 Enough said...

  • Disney well and truly at its greatest <3

  • Disney at it's greatest <3

  • 2:33 - 3:02 amazing

  • TROMBONE FTW! love the trombone part!

  • @doommmmmmm You mean trombone part in 0:44 or 1:20?

  • I want the last half on repeat. I love the african chants and sound. It just makes me SO Inexplicably happy. It reminds me of true Disney I guess.

  • as well an extra of elton john's love hit with montage of harry and ginny's romantic life?

  • how about this idea for a possible tribute to harry potter & the deathly hallows part 2: 0:00 harry rises and readies himself to battle voldemort 0:12 harry and voldemort battle 0:46 before dying, voldemort curses harry a final time 1:20 voldemort's destruction and seemingly harry's 1:31 mourning for harry's death 2:32 miraculous survival (epic) 3:02 rejoicing and rebuilding 3:34 harry & ginny credited for heroics 4:02 deep kiss, followed by black screen 4:08 end credits
  • 2:33 Most epic moment in all of music anywhere...

  • 8 people were hyenas

  • this is the single most beautiful piece of music in all of human history!!

  • As much as I love the soundtrack to Kingdom Hearts, I will personally sack whoever did not put a homage to this in KHII.

Going beyond the sounds, the song just so perfectly matches up with images, especially when Simba and Scar are fighting, starting out more intense, then getting slower during the slow motion sequence.

  • Hans Zimmer has composed TONS of my favorite movies. If I ever met him, I don't even know what I'd do haha :')

  • 8 people got mauled by hyenas.

  • 0:02-0:37

BEST HALF-MINUTE OF SOUNDTRACK MUSIC EVER COMPOSED.

  • @verulence

all 8 ppl who dislike this score are either deranged or have no sense of music whatsoever. thank u sooo much for uploading this is exactly what ive been looking for! cheers!

  • Best bit is when the choir sings circle of life

  • One of the most epic final battle themes ever.

  • We relate because we feel the weight of life's responsibilities, the struggles that threaten to hold us back. Then the moment when we break free is so great it swells within us, nearly bursting as we rise in pride and take what is rightfully ours. The birthright granted when we first breathed life, the truth that no one can really break us because our souls belong only to us and G-d and that love for ourselves and each other is what makes life worth living with honor and integrity.

  • ahh, true Disney... before they became known for their teenybopper sluts and shitty merchandise-whoring

  • Too epic for words.

    I can't even fini

  • hans zimmer is the only guy who can make walking up a rock so epic

  • @disneybandman true words have never been spoken. makes me want to walk up a rock in the rain, myself.

  • @disneybandman Best. Comment. EVER.

  • @disneybandman He can make anything epic, no matter what the situation.

  • @disneybandman Ahaha, it's funny because it's true. Everytime I watch the movie I think, "I love everything about this movie, but this scene would be so much cheesier, in a lame way, without Hans Zimmer's epic composition."

  • @disneybandman i totally agree!

  • @disneybandman Or when he makes it were everyone clears a hostipal after the Joker threatens to blow it up if the lawyer ain't dead in an hour

  • Hans Zimmer is a fucking genious.

  • Amazing!! 8 heartless people!!

  • this a very powerful piece of music in my opinion

  • return to pride rock gives you so much hope!

  • 2:32

Tears roll down my face. This music turns my mind heavenward- it is almost Divinely powerful.

  • Love the beginning xD AMAZING!!!!!!

  • Thanks for upload complete this beautiful soundtrack!!!

  • wow i just watched the whole movie, without actualy watching it, LONG LIVE HANS ZIMMER, AND HIS ABILITY TO MAKE A MOVIE COME TO LIFE EVEN WITHOUT WELL A MOVIE LOL, ITS AN EMERCEING EXPERIANCE TO LISTEN TO HIS WORK, IE THE ROCK, OR CRIMSON TIDE, OR ANY OTHER WORK OF HIS, TEARS OF THE SUN, BLACK HAWK DOWN, AND THE REST, LONG LIVE THE GREATSET COMPOSER OF ALL TIME, AND LONG LIVE CLASSIC DISNEY

  • This music is pure epicness and nostalgy it gives me friggin goosebumps every time!

  • Oh my goodness found it! LOL THanks for posting! I love the walking up the rock scene in Lion King!

  • holy crap, the beginning of this video/music scared the crap outta me LOL

  • soooo EPIC!!!!!!!! IT'S AWESOME!

  • This music just defies comprehension.

If you walk in on this movie and pay attention to the music at any given moment, you are in awe. The Director has grounds to sue Zimmer because Zimmer completely stole this movie. The visuals/audio are practically just a backdrop, an illustration to aid the story the music tells.

and after it put you in awe, it kicks it up a notch, and then it brings in this amazing african stuff, and then it kicks back to the chorus and you faint.

  • 1:37 - 4:06 is the best music Hans Zimmer has ever conceived, and thats saying something.

  • 2:04 to 3:02 <3 aw meh gawdd...BEAUTIFUL

  • I..almost cried :)

this is how Disney suppose to be.

  • 2:30 +

    = absolutely amazing.

    Hans Zimmer is a genius.

  • @Katao192 I find that kind of ironic as the part after the crescendo is mostly Lebo Morake (though Zimmer certainly put things together). When you get Zimmer and Mark Mancina and the african vocals of Lebo M and his troupe together you really get that feeling of epic Africa. If you like this I also recommend The Power of One soundtrack (also by Zimmer and Lebo M) which really laid the groundwork for this one.

  • @Katao192 I agree!!! I remember old times!!! when I was a child!!!. amazing song!!!...

  • I wish that they would use this at the end of The Deathly Hallows part 2, well most of this not the ending part just the fight through the walk. However, I don't like Voldemort, I certainly don't like him like I do Scar. I also hate when people act like this fight was one sided in Simba's favor cause it wasn't, were it not for the cliff and the flip Scar woulda killed him, Scar just wanted it more. Besides it's better when villains are like Scar, much better. Best cartoon movie villain ever.

  • Spirit & Lion King have the best scores for any animated movie.

  • This, Spirit, The Prince of Egypt, and Princess Mononoke have some of the most epic scores for an animated film I have ever heard! Of course, the scores were all done by Hans Zimmer, apart from the last one, which was done by his Japanese equivalent, Joe Hisaishi!

  • @RockyGemsCarly Your comment is correct! lol

  • @RockyGemsCarly Hans Zimmer probably fell out of the sky and started to make epic music for us~! i love it~!

  • @RockyGemsCarly YES! Agreed!! :)

  • @RockyGemsCarly Spirited Away's track was amazing, it was also done by Joe Hisaishi :)

  • @RockyGemsCarly And the Simpsons Movie was also composed by Hans Zimmer!

  • @RockyGemsCarly And Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda, too!

  • @RockyGemsCarly Joe Hisaishi composed Princess Mononoke, not Hans Zimmer. Hisashi composes the music for (nearly) all of Miyazaki's films.

  • @RockyGemsCarly Oh, wait, I'm sorry, I didn't read through to the end of your comment. Duuurrrrr......my bad.

  • @RockyGemsCarly and Pirates of the Caribbean!

  • Okay seriously, The Lion King has one of the BEST movie scores I've ever heard. It's definitely in my top 5 for sure. I always loved the music at 0:12 when Simba and Scar are fighting. so epic.

  • @MelissaAnnLegard1989 also, how do you think this piece would sound if crossed with Harry Potter's battle against Voldemort?

  • I love the Lion King. One of the GREATEST movies ever made!

  • can't thank you enough for uploading this... *hugs* <3

  • Hans Zimmer music were best of two films and they were The Lion King and Gladiator. If I become an actor I may ask if he could do the music of a movie I would ask Rob Minkoff to make out of a game called Primal Rage.

  • and a being chased.

  • EPIC

  • I'm in love with these songs! ;; It's such a travesty they were never released on a soundtrack!

  • and reminds me of carcharodontosaurus trying to stop the volcano from exploding.

  • i know pomp and circumstance is the graduation song, but i kept hearing the part where simba walks up to the edge when i was walkingout

  • reminds me of ADS like when noasaurus escapes throught the maze, by 2 t-rexes.

  • awesome! so emotional..!

  • I bet the 8 people who disliked this are Justin Bieber fans. >>

This song is too awesome for words.

  • it is time

    simba nods

  • @24andthelionking Cue the ass-kicking music!

  • Amazing music, Hanz zimmer is a god

  • Hans Zimmer is truely amazing, no doubt about it.

  • 0:10 - 0:36 epic part!

  • 8 people will be eaten by Simba for breakfast :P

  • WOW. Sheer, fiery, anger... unnerving dread and daunting horror... serene peace and pure majesty... and ecstatic happiness with a touch of utter beauty and truth.

    AND THERE IS 8 "DISLIKES?!?!?!?!"

    Sad. -_-

  • This is what I love about Disney..... they have the ability to make such epic things out of simple, mundane actions....... like just walking up a rock at 2:31. ^.^

  • scar & simba fight

  • i will always love this film. its not perfect but its very close. my all time fav film. need more films like this nowadays rather than violent bad moral films. even bond is more violent than ever . not a good message to send out coz alot of people will get influenced. id rather be influenced by this :)

  • 8 people missed the like button :)

  • @kirasimba They all belong to Scars pride.

  • Extremely inspiring and powerful. I absolutely love it.

  • If you didn't cry when Simba climbed up to Pride Rock. Then you're an emotionless robot

  • @KingNice92 I don't cry at this scene, but I don't know why, it's the beginning of the movie who made me cry.
